If it is only because you used the old form, I think you may argue with them...it is not your fault...they put the old version on the website after the new forms are released... We as applicants should not burden the loss...

With CIC its either in or out! no 2nd chance. if they have returned the application that means its a bad news. Hope u understand what I am saying.

There should no change in the contents. The forms are standard ones they have used for years.

Well the difference is more in lay out then content and they mark with yellow marker the date on the bottom of the page. They provided the new form I think I should appreciate that hehe

Dear, this time I suggest u also check all the forms again although CIC reject u just for schedue 3. U know generic form and the check list also been changed after May 4th.

Without even looking back at the docs ( so I might be a little off) the content as well as the layout is different. I think this is the doc that CIC uses to see if you have supplied information relating to their current criteria to get the full 67 points. So they ask about whether you got an ECA or Which Nocs you worked in recently, or if you sent language results etc....So it may very well be the first or among the first documents that they look at to assess application. The old document would not have asked about ECA etc.

Sigh.........Now Happy waiting has become Anxious waiting or many. Do not lose hope many of you WILL be receiving good news. Marta has already started her action plan...so no more questions give her sometime to finish her stuff tonight and action her plans tomorrow. By then she will be in a better frame of mind to answer your questions.

Marta, the "details" you are providing seem very very vague, can you clarify for us?

What exactly did the letter you got from CIC say (if you don't mind telling us)?

Did it say something like:

"You application has been rejected because you used the old schedule 3 form. Please download the latest schedule 3 form from the CIC website and complete it then resubmit your FSW application"

I am sure that CIO has calculated the number of completed applications by now but they are not releasing the numbers for some reason. On the status page they say that "The numbers on this page are updated at least once a week", and this is the 5th week, I don't believe that they have not received a single complete application yet.

What I can think of is that CIC will loose a lot of money if they declare the status now, they want to receive more applications so that they can charge more $$$. They charge a candidate if the file is complete but that person doesn't qualify. If we assume that 20% of the completed applications don't actually qualify. They would want to open maximum applications to charge such people who do not have enough points. If they post that they have received enough applications, people will stop sending applications.

JUST A THEORY !!!

I don't think you get charged if your NOC doesn't qualify or your points don't reach 67 or your application reaches after the cap or sub cap is filled so its not about the money.
