I have applied PR under NOC 2174, my application reached SYDNEY, NY on August 27th, but by that time the cap reached 300.
So can any one tell me what happens to my application ? do i get the documents back ?
Some people say, the application may be kept in waiting status and will be used for next year quota.. Is this all correct ? .. form past instances can some body reply me..

no your complete package will be returned to you, including all document and fee refund. you will have to apply next year by yourself. good luck for 2014. dont loose your hope. a year passes by so quickly get yourself ready for the new FSWP 2014

If you read through the thread you will see people already receiving their documents back due to cap full.

What I read is after May4th 2013, the -normal- job offer is no longer accepted, you have to have LMO. so my question is:can a new small company apply for a LMO? or there is a criteria for an employer to apply for LMO like being operating for a some years, minimum number of employees, etc..?

Gandalf / luqi - My application was received in Sydney, Nova Scotia for NOC 2174 on 3rd June 2013. This was when the CAP only said 33... I still haven't heard anything about my application. I have sent an email but had no reply. Any ideas?

Hello everyone!!!

Sorry I haven't been able to logon on to forum for a the last few days....
But I am back with a news. I got back my application packet yesterday from CIC, the reason they mentioned was form IM0008 not fully filled. They say page 2 missing, but myself and my agent double checked everything b4 we packed it.
But anyway the wait is over now
My agent is asking me to resend the application, but I don't suppose that the Cap would reach for 2132 by the time my application will reach CIC. Kindly advise.
A very big thanks to all the moderators and senior members who have kept this forum alive and kicking and I wish everyone all the very best and keep up the good spirits.

So sorry to hear this Harry. Please I would recommend that you follow your consultant advice and re-apply. It can only cost you the courier money and who knows luck might shine your way. It is not yet over until it is over Cheer up Buddy. The Canadian dream is still alive

Thanks , CIC dcleard that your NOC 2174 CAP fillup . I think there is no chance at all this year ( application reached 27th August ) . Your applicaton will return with all doc and payment to your address by regular mail . Kept for next year quota ??? it is just mental satisfaction . May be or may not next year your NOC in the FSWP NOC list . So get preparation for next year ( If include NOC list )

It will take 20 working days (28 days including weekends) to hear back from CIC. When did you email them? they normally do reply on the 20th day (I have emailed them twice and both times they've responded on the 20th day)
