Yes they do . UCI is assigned. even with Rejection.

do they mention UCI number on rejected file mean do the mention UCI on rejection letter of explaination

EXAMPLE 1 - 13 Points (Since experience is more than 5 years but less than 6 years)

EXAMPLE 2 - 13 Points (Since experience is between 4 and 5 years)

Why else would they say (2-3 years), (4-5 years) etc..

I know previously points were as follows:

1 year - 15 points
2 year - 17 points
3 year - 19 points
4 years & more - 21 points

So, previously CIO officer had to count someone's experience of say for eg. 1 year 11 months as only 1 year.

Infact, lets see more feedback coming from other members on this forum

Dear All,

Congrats to all who have received good news from CIC.

I have received the application packet back on Aug 31, thought of sharing with you all.

My application was returned due to incomplete as per the CIC.

Following is the reason they have mentioned

We do not accept Passports as proof of Birth, therefore we are unable to accept details from passport. We do accept Secondary school records that contain the following :

Applicant's Name
Date of Birth
Name of Parent/Parents

If you are not able to provide a Birth certificate with all 3 criteria, we require an affidavit stating all of this information or that a Birth certificate cannot be attained.

However, the fact is that I do have submitted Birth Certificate(both Husband & wife) along with application which was issued by High Commission of India here in Mauritius.

As I was having this certificate with me before filing application, I do not think of providing additional SSC leaving certificate as certificate issued by High commission is genuine and valid one.

I am not able to understand their reason of rejection, as they are saying Passport is not accepted as proof of birth which shows they might have not looked into our Birth certificates giving all the above 3 details which they are asking.

Experts throw some light on the said issue.

Sorry to hear about your case my friend but your explaination has taken a big load off my head coz i only sent secondary certificate and for the past 14 days i am juggling between whether i should send an affidavit as an additional document, (which might not be considered at all!!)

Since you have published communication from CIC we cant have a more credible confirmation. Thanks for joining this forum as members like your good self add a lot of value and authenticity to forums by sharing their experiences so that others can benefit. Regards and all the best

An idea that I have in my head, what are the factors that might cause faster processing of your application and receive PER quicker:

1- is it the VO that you choose?
2- Is it your nationality? as there could be a demand for certain nationalities!!! :-\
3- does the person receiving your application affect? (some are faster, others don't like to work so they keep the files aside? )

any idea guys? because I really still don't understand why some are being informed and receive PER replies faster than others.

Sorry for my misinterpretation, but fortunately i got my file now and the reason for REJECTION IS I HAVE MENTIONED TWO NOCS IN SCHEDULE 3 QUESTION 12 A.....AS PER RULE ONLY ONE NOC CAN BE MENTIONED.......
