Whist I totally agree with your viewpoint that some viewer are extremely selfish individuals looking to feed off others people's good work. I do not think that this is an approach that we will be taking, especially at this time. I agree that if more persons participated then the figures would be more reflective of the actual situation ( though usually other forums represented about 4% of the total application and we are averaging between 30-40%) If is our wish that this forum and the spreadsheet remain open to all, in the spirit of goodwill and co-operation not through forcing that hands of the selfish masses. Also there is the added element of security and confidentiality when you involve peoples email addresses.

Hello,I just called cic and got my client ID number,i guess today is my lucky day,after 9 weeks waiting ,i finally get something from cic..Does this mean my application package has been opened but still being reviewed? Please advise.

Btw.my application was received on 13 June ,Noc=2147

File has been opened for sure ... Probably under review .. If u paid using CC, u'll be notified immediately, and If DD then u can keep checking the IVR using UCI ... that way u would know if DD has been encashed or not ... IVR updates earlier than ECAS in my experience ... !

This has been discussed several times and also during the early establishment days of this thread. But the fact is stricter restrictions actually ward off the forum-ers with a negative feeling. Those who aren't willing will never be willing by force. The forum is open to all and the data itself is a public property hence it cannot be allowed to one and restricted to another. Asking for their email ID is again something most would not like to share; even me. I do not want my ID to get into the hands of spammers and email marketers. Your idea is commendable bro but un-realizable.

In fact, non-contribs rather gets encouraged themselves when they come to see success stories on this forum and that how handy the spreadsheet become at times when we seek answers to certain queries. It takes time but it works. So let's just live with this.

Can u please tell me the number through which u contacted CIC?? I tried calling them on the no +16139444000 but they repleied me twice saying they dont have any information regarding FSW applicants...

I have heard from the forum that Singapore VO, applicants does not provided any AOR notification...I m from Bangladesh..so cant go to Singapore now for this purpose... ;D ;D ;D

So any suggestion how can i update my marital status after getting PER..??

THanks for the quick reply. I tried the steps you have mentioned, reached to the call center agent but she replied saying that they do not have any information regarding FSW applications. Is there any other alternative telephone number.

Any help will be of great help. I wonder how others have got the UCI Number by calling to CIC.

just try a few more times to call cic,you will get the client I'd number,I just called them and got the UCI,it was my third time to call them,the first two times was not successful...I am a June 13 applicant ,if you have been waiting for more than 9 weeks,keep trying to call them,I think waiting the email response would be very slow,good luck!

she will ask you for your name , DOB, etc and giv you the ID

there is no way u can call nova scotia.. but yes call at call center at
0016139444000
select 1 for English
then 1 for foreign affair
2 for immigration
call is being transferred to cic
then 1 for English
2 for status
1 for PR
8 digit client id number will be asked
listen the request 3 times without entering client id number
then the call is automatically transferred to an agent
agent will ask information about last name, first name, date of birth, application received date, email id etc
then agent will check in the system and shall give feedback

I am using DD,have to go to bank to check encash status,not convenient

What is IVR and ECAS? I remember seeing them but forget the meaning,and cannot access the FAQ docin the forum for now..can you please share? Thanks a lot!
