As it does not seem evident to you from my other post , let me elaborate. No courier service will reveal any such information. I was at the ups office the whole day waiting for eca from wes and along with me were other people waiting. I was there till the end of the day to ensure the safe delivery of my application So I indeed know from the people that were there present at the office along with me the number for that particular NOC on that day from my city. Its not hard to normalize the figures , disregard the minorities and extrapolate . And there are many International courier services , I had extrapolated the numbers just based on 1 since that is the same courier service that WES had used to send us our ECA reports.

Thanks for your clarification - that sounds scary :o :o :o How about the other 16 ppl? what was the next hottest NOC that they applied for? Please don't tell me that was 1112 :-X :-X

This is wat I was thinking too Jigzzy to count from looking at the labels.
Hang on, does the CIC require you to label the NOC code on the courier we sent?? what if you havent done so, will they just shove it to the side???

Vpfsw.....Thats the most difficult question to ask now.....we are all nervous about our applications, unsure if we did the documentation correctly or that we met the cap. No one wants to be the person who crushed someone else's dreams. Even if in our hearts we really feel that 3 Nocs have already reached there caps.
:( You can look at the spreadsheet to see which 3 are most likely to already be filled. Such a stressing situation.

Hi IslandBabe,
Do you think we have a chance?

You label your package with your Noc Code.......your envelope BEFORE it goes into the courier package. This makes it easy for CIP to sort applications, rather than having to open them....no really don't think so. HAVE NEVER HEARD OF ANYONE being turned down for not labeling with Noc, its almost a silly thought.

Hi Islandbabe,

It seems that CIC is having a long time updating the NOC...no one is being charged yet... mine was submitted on may 22. how was the value 920 arrived from noc 2174?

Presumably they would need to open them to check completeness before incrementing the counter that reaches the cap?

calm down vpfsw! Firstly, that 920 was just an estimation. Secondly, it's for all NOC based on whoever did the calculations. So it might not be correct... it can be 920 it can be 9200 or 920,000,000! ;) Only CIC (and maybe God) knows. :D

Our guess is as good as yours. :)
But as long as we're guessing - I'd say next Tuesday! :)
