Think about education in Canada, for you or your spouse, that seems the most realistic and proved way to emigrate to Canada.
And their education system is top-notched and not expensive.

Wow ! CONGRATS VICKY. This is a fantastic News. I know that once backlogs of PER are cleared, charging of CC and DD would start in full throttle.

I wish other forumites luck in getting their DD & CC encashed too.

CC got charged 7 minutes ago.. just received the SMS and email as well from my Bank on 1400 CAD being charged...

Also, just looking at the cap update...page seems to have changed not only in numbers but some text too (nothing consequential though). It continues to bedazzle me how 1112 is so popular! Why are them financial analysts wanting to Canadify?

Off course - a big gratitude for all the people that kept answering even the dullest and simplest question here and tirelessly maintaining the stats sheet!

Excuse me guys & gals for being absent this long right after I got an opportunity to help with admin works here. I got some vacation + business trips + private issues + business trips again and actually it's not really done yet, so I'll be out for some time more.

BTW, I was checking the stats now and then and things seemed to be balancing on the edge for me all the time, but after latest updates I'm not so optimistic after all. Unless CIC started playing some weird stats game in Sidney.
40 people here on the forum are before me and only 70 positions to fill at best.

So - all of you fellow ITers that were a bit faster than 6/24 - good luck happy waiting and congrats in advance!

The last application being charged from NOC 1112 is on 24.05 in our spreadsheet - in the same time is a PER. The last app being charged from NOC 2174 is 30.05 (charged on 12.08 so today) and PER is on 24.05.

Any conclusions regarding above figures in connection to today's CAP UPDATE - 12.08?

According to this what I mentioned before and taking into account next important fact - 2174 candidates are jauntily charged up to 30.05 - I may assume that CIC Cap Update is related to freshly charged applications not to PER update.

I believe today's Cap update is to 30.05 included! So there is still a pretty good chance to early June applicants in 1112 category

1) Do you think I can still apply for FSW and meet the cap in category 3211? Yes u have a good chance as per the CAP Update today from CIC.

I have my IELTS score(8) and education assessment done : what are u waiting for. Go get it Tiger!!!

Question for someone who applied in 3211 category

My background is Masters of Science in Biotechnology and working in a Life Sciences Industry : It doesnt matter what u have studied and what job ur doing, As long as the job experience is in the list with the duties u should be fine. (this answer is generic )

Do I still qualify for Medical Laboratory Technologist as I have some duties covered in my job profile? Not my cup of tea!!!!

Hmmm....What to say....there are no reliable chances for you to be within a cap, however miracles happened ...

I sent them email asking about my PER but in return email they mentioned that your file has been transferred to NDVO recently. Ecas still in "In Process". My application reached CIO on april 29, payment May 2nd & PER July 31...They must have done lots of checking on my file i think...

Whats the ecas status ?
