OMG... just had a look at the cap update. figures are really scary. As i m a 2132 applicant on 24 th june, any guesses whether i make the cap limit. 2132 is too slow as its not moving from 23 rd may..... replies much appreciated. thanks

hello all. I need help and advice of experts and experience people.

I m Farhaan from Pakistan.

I have applied under NOC : 2174 via Immigration Consultant in Canada.

he couriered my complete application along with ECA reports, that received to CIO on July 15, 2013, (10:15am signed).

till yet CIC have updated their website twice showing the cap count, total applications, e.t.c. now the cap count for NOC:2174 stands at 233 out of 300 by August 12, 2013.

since the receipt of my application package, I haven't received any update from CIO, neither did my consultant.
how can I know that my application is being accepted at CIO? I have tried to call them but it doesn't connect. I have made a bank draft payable to receiver general for Canada from a local bank in Pakistan against cash, so cannot trace it if its been paid or not. what are other options for me to get any update? what are the chances of acceptance of my application before cap reaches the limit (now just 67 left till 300)?

any suggestions, help, advice, updates.........are welcomed. thanks in advance.

You have to wait and monitor the cc and dd charges within the spreadsheet which represent the most accurate timeline source.
You have all June applicants ahead of you as well as first two weeks of July so you need to make your analysis and estimation.
Theoretically you can expect update after 60-70 days of application delivery date.

You know what...after all Sidney, NS is quite a good little city and nice place for CIC Intake Office and it is not such a big problem that it is far away from nearest international airport... ;D

I changed my mind and not grouchy anymore today, cause my card was CHARGED now!!!

Wish all the guys and gals, who are eagerly waiting for news about their applications, to hear good news too, especially those who are in the hot NOC's 1112 and 2174. I know you feel depressed now, after CAP updates. But, hey, there are still 22 and 67 places left there, so the glass (CAP) almost half full...no...empty, doesn't matter, hope you gonna make it and share with us good news. Cheer up!
