Form imm1283

Good evening!

One of my friend who use to live in Quebec (he’s a Canadian citizen) now live with his wife in another country.

They want to come back eventually to live in Quebec.

They are in the process of completing the forms for spousal sponsorship.

Do they have to fill the imm1283 form? It says that if you live in Quebec you do not need to fill it. I know that he doesn’t live in Quebec but since he was living here and will be living in Quebec do they need to fill it?

As well, can they send the OWP request along with their sponsorship or that should be send se separately ?

I suggest your friend read the guide a bit more thoroughly. IMM1283 is only required when the Principal Applicant has a dependent child with a dependent child, i.e. a grandchild is included in the app.

She will not qualify for the OWP unless they are both in Canada and applying inland.

Hello

I came across question 4 in Part A of IMM 5533e - It is IMM 1283
My wife doesn't have a kid and I understand I have to put N/A near the check box. But do I print the form and then manually handwrite N/A on the right side of check box ??Please help
