Rizmayo, thank you so much for answering back, your knowledge and assistance is greatly appreciated.

I asked, will they get mad if I am landing and coming back after a week. You said:

"Will they get mad at you? The answer is yes :P ... 2 things will happen (or rather not happen) if you disclose you are not moving permanently in this trip:

They will not take your address in Canada for delivery of PR cards. This is not a problem, there is website link where you have to enter your Canadian address and you can do it the next day after landing, even if CBSA officer says no to you.PR cards will be delivered to that address without an issue.
They will not stamp your form B4e: Goods to Follow . CBSA officer will tell you that you can get this done when you move permanently, however I am not sure if the same allowance will be made to you at that time, as it is customary for a newly landed immigrant. You will have to clarify this with CBSA."

Two more questions:
-Can you please let me know the website link to put my Canadian address after I land?
-What if I don't tell them I plan to go back in a week?

Thanks so much,

-What if I don't tell them I plan to go back in a week? If you are driving in, you are required to import the car you are driving in, unless you plan on going back immediately (be sure to include your car on form B4E if you plan to bring it to Canada later). You could always take the bus I guess. Other then that you do not have to disclose it is a short trip.

Thanks so much,

Thank you Rizmayo, you saved me from a lot of headache. 8)

I will fly in with my family, since the car drive will be way too long for the children and little dog. Selling my car and buying another in Canada is a better idea. One thing that may help others, Border Agency told me we have to include our dog on the B4, goods coming in with us, and you need a valid Rabies Certificate.

If you are flying in then certainly do not tell the immigration officer you are coming for a short landing and just give a printout of your friend's address (sometimes they hear you wrong and type the wrong address) and tell them that is your address in Canada.

Bringing a dog will require a certificate from his vet and it needs to be attested (not sure it will be required if vet is based in US).

Hi guys,
I have a question. I have some jewelry. Half of it I have with me and I know that I have to make two photocopy of each. But another half is not with me at the moment and I canon and no one can take pictures of them so I can include in my goods to fallow list. That's mean they will not accept it?
And what will happen when I want take them with me In 3-4 month when I go back there where the rest of jewelry is?
Thanks

Hi friends

I have a confusion on declaring jewellery.
Should we take pictures of all the artificial jewellery too that are of no big value or just the gold/precious jewellery pictures are enough? Can these be just grouped and mentioned as artificial jewellery under personal effects?

Regards

take pictures of all items, prepare a list (2 copies, one for immigration officer, one for your records.)

Yes you can group these together and take one picture of them all laid on the table. You can also do this for smaller trinkets like lockets, earrings, etc.

please confirm thank you,

Sir

There are no such forms , COPR is every thing.
Immigration officer will do every thing. You need to provide them print out of address where you want your PR card to be delivered.

Landing cards will be distributed during flight

Stay Blessed
