i am a canadian citizen and i sponsor my mom under the supervisa for parents and grandparents. Recently, my mom received her visa. The reason why i sponsor her its because she was living alone in her house and it wasnt safe for her now to stay alone by herself because she's getting old. Now, she's 71 yrs old, she's pretty much independent but she needs to have someone with her in the house to remind her with eatong meals on time, taking her medication and also companionship, especially because i wont be home most of the time, ad i am working 2 jobs. my question is, i am allowed to hire a foreign livein caregiver for her, because i start to work at 7:00am-12:00nn , then 3:00-11:00pm. i left the house 6:00am and come home at around 12:00am. i just want to make sure that she is ok at home and i will feel better knowing that someone is looming after her while i am at work. my income yearly , s 58k and it is only me and my mom n the household. pls give me some ideas...

Find out if you are eligible to hire a Live-in Caregiver. Here is the link:http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/work/apply-who-caregiver.asp
