Yeah, the agony is in the waiting, but from my own experience, IRCC will be accommodating and give you chances. :)

Thank you bellaluna :)

Oh no, you should have declared that dependent child, as the lock-in date for provincial nominees' dependents is the date you submitted your OINP application in November 2016...so if he was still 18 at the time, even if he turned 19 or even 20 by the time you submit your PR application, he can still be considered as your dependent.
Sorry but the only advice I can give you here is to make a new thread in the forum about this...I don't know what to do in this case. :( Kasi even if you use the "change of personal information" form, baka naman magduda din ang OINP bakit biglang nagkaroon ka ng 18-year-old na step-child.
And if you don't declare it, your chance to include him in your application is over, he will have to apply to immigrate on his own.
Good luck, I wish you the best.

Hi bellaluna, I'm relieved to inform you that there's been a mistake.. My partner made a mistake as to the birth year of the son, he was born 1996 instead of 1997, meaning, at the time of lodging my application to OINP he is 19 y/o already- no longer a dependent!! It was such such a relief!

Now, do we need to declare him as non-accompanying family member during the PR application to CIC? No need for him to undergo medicals or swcure NBI clearance right?

Thanks so much guys! ☺️

If my understanding is correct po, you need to declare everyone in your family details. Madali naman agapan yun pag CIC stage kasi ipapadala niyo lang yung supporting documents, at letter of explanation. When in doubt, declare hehe

IELTS and ECA need to be ready before you create an Express Entry profile po :)

Made my landing na at Peace Bridge. Di na ako nag-PDOS hehe.

Congratulations bellaluna! :D

@ Noramime: yes that's right since he's independent and would need to lodge his own PR application now, if that's the case, you only include him in the family information section but not as a dependent, if I remember correctly.

Thanks zarinah. :)

Thanks Bellaluna and LokiJr01!

OINP is currently not issuing nominations, we're on the pipeline na. What documents can you suggest we prepare while waiting for our OINP nomination?

PCCs from foreign countries if any.

If you don't need them you can gather everything else quickly after your nomination: NBI, medicals, refreshed bank documents, refreshed employment letter for current job.

Resident na siya together with her family.

Tanong: pwede ko po bang i-claim na relative ang sister-in-law ko? full sister po siya ng wife ko. by the way, ako ang principal applicant.

Oo.

Then if we have a representative, will the COPR be sent to the representative's email address?

thanks.
