Quick question lang, for those landing in Ontario, anong health insurance ang kinuha or kukuhanin niyo for the 3 months waiting period? Sorry dito ako nag-ask wala kasi masyadong info sa ibang threads.
Magkukulong lang ako sa bahay for the first 3 months and hope for the best.
Have you already applied for OHIP? What proof of residency did you provide?

I advise you to wait on MVO's feedback on the passport you submitted, if they will request for a new passport for your daughter.
I am not completely sure, but I believe the immigrant visa and COPR are tied to the passport, based on what I read around the forums here. If you renew your daughter's passport in August, you will have to have the visa and COPR reissued for her new passport. Again, please wait for MVO's advice instead. If they proceed with stamping it, I think you should not renew the passport next month.
I am also not sure, but I would hope the IO at NAIA makes you board that plane even with less than 6 months validity on that old passport, as it is an immigrant visa anyway. Sorry pero wala ako masyadong tiwala na alam ng IO sa NAIA na walang 6 month rule sa Canada....

Hello guys need your help.. ano po bang repercussions if hindi nadeclare yung 'child of commonlaw partner' sa application to OINP? Kasi when I am filling out the forms, hindi ko napansin na pati pala yung dependent child e need ilagay dun. We applied last Nov, that time 18 y/o lang yung son ng partner ko, on Aug 03, he will be 19 and no longer a dependent. Hindi na din naman balak ng partner ko isama sa application namin yung son nya since wala sa knya ang custody.
Please advise as this worries me. Thank you so much sa mga makakasagot
Oh no, you should have declared that dependent child, as the lock-in date for provincial nominees' dependents is the date you submitted your OINP application in November 2016...so if he was still 18 at the time, even if he turned 19 or even 20 by the time you submit your PR application, he can still be considered as your dependent.
Sorry but the only advice I can give you here is to make a new thread in the forum about this...I don't know what to do in this case.
Kasi even if you use the "change of personal information" form, baka naman magduda din ang OINP bakit biglang nagkaroon ka ng 18-year-old na step-child.
And if you don't declare it, your chance to include him in your application is over, he will have to apply to immigrate on his own.
Good luck, I wish you the best.
