hello guys, this is my first time to post in this thread. i am preparing all the docs for CIC(federal) stage submission under Express Entry, so it would be a great help if someone can answer my inquiry.

1. for those Pinoys who have worked in Singapore before (I am back here in the Philippines right now), did you upload a letter indicating that you need a letter from CIC to get a police certificate during you CIC(federal) stage submission? it's indicated on the CIC site that:

"When you apply for permanent residence, you will be asked to upload a police certificate. Instead, you must upload a document that states: “I am applying from a country that requires an official request letter from CIC to get a police certificate."

2. does this mean that we need to wait for their advice on how to get the police certificate? or there are other alternative ways to do this?

basically, i need some advice if you were able to obtain the Singapore police certificate without waiting from advice from CIC (any alternatives) and if you have uploaded it directly in your Express Entry profile without initially uploading the letter i've mentioned.

Singapore is very strict in terms of issuing the Police Clearance. The only way you will be able to get one is presenting a document from the country asking you to submit a police certificate with your name in it. Either an ITA document checklist or a Nominatiom certificate from a province in Canada.

Example for our family: When we received the nomination only the name of the principal applicant is indicated there. So the dependent was not allowed to get one, we have to wait for the ITA and get the document checklist first then present it to PCC.

Pwede po ba pa post dito kung ano ano nakalagay sa checklist once na maka received ng ITA, lilke:

1. PCC
2. POF
3. Employment reference
4. Medical
5. etc

Tapos lahat ba ito ay need isubmit 60days after maka received ng ITA? Or i accept muna yung ITA tapos after some time (mga ilan araw?) bibigyan ka nila ng checklist?

Personalised Checklist sya madami eh, depende sa dineclare mo. Pero above yung basic things na hinihingi nila. Some Additions are:

1.Marriage Certificate

Once inaccept mo yung ITA may mga things na need ka sagutan... parang sa EE profiel ulit pero this time make sure na whatever declaration you did may docs ka to prove that. Ang pag "accept" po ng ITA ay ang pagsubmit mo ng lahat ng nasa checklist... you have 60 days to complete your documents and submit them

When they send you an ITA they will give you a specific date that the ITA is valid and you need to accept that before that date. Once you accpeted the invite tatakbo na yung 60 days mo, kelangan mo masubmit lahat within 60 days.

Pagmay ITA kana, magstastart na agad count down to 60 days until macomplete mo yung questionnaires and upload and submit the documents po. Walang option to "accept" ang option lang po ay
1. Continue with the application - meaning po pinoprocess mo yung mga kailangan para masubmit ang application
2. Decline the invitation - d ka magaaply

What I remember is may validity date ang ITA then once you accept your 60 days will run na. Correct me if I'm wrong guys.

Wala pang 5 minutes inaccept ko na agad kaya hindi ko na maalala. Tinitigan ko muna and sinabi ko na This is it!!! Tapos accept na haha

Sa case ko po kasi, narecieve ko yung ITA sa october 23... tapos ang options po ay continue with application or decline... these two options will always be there.. so within 60 days pwd ka magdecline or opt to continue..sa akin may hanggang dec 22 ako bago magexpire yung ita ko... if d ko macompleto, pwd kong idecline muna tapos wait for another ita pro ayaw ko nun..

Hi JoyceM, Di ba pag click mo ng continue with the application mawawala na yung decline option then may row telling you how many days left for you to submit the complete docs.

Naalala ko kasi nung nareceive ko yung ITA nung Oct 23 may naalala ako na continue with application then there was a date parang valid till Nov 2, 2015. When I click on that nawala na and napalitan na nung countdown to 60 days.
