hello @arthurmr I am also in the process of claiming my provident fund benefit from pag-ibig. can your share your experience and how long it would take for them to process the request?

Officially they claim it can be processed in 3 weeks. I have gone to a branch and due to REASONS (new system, reconcile records from all my previous employers which is just 2 btw), it might take until January 2018, assuming I complete and pass the reqts this month (Oct). I would have left already then for Canada, so I'm also processing an SPA for my representative to claim the cheque. Oh well. :)

Hi, ano ibig sabihin ng "bank statememt" mo? Bank account na may bank statement or bank statements the last 6 months na kayang iprovide ang proof na may minimum proof of funds...?

Bank statements in the last 6 months na kaya iprovide ang minimum proof of funds. Is it a must right away po ba before e- file un papers?

Pag nag create ka ng express entry profile online, may tanong lang how much you will be bringing to canada. Yung "proof of funds" na yun, hihingin pag na-invite ka to apply (ITA) or pag magaapply ka for PNP.

For example, nagcreate ako June 4 ng EE ko pero only nung nag apply ako for Ontario (OINP) nung July 18 saka lang ako nagprovide ng 6 months bank statement. After ko nanominate, nung nakareceive ako ITA (aug 23), nagprovide ako updated 6 months bank statements and bank letter stating details such as kelan ako nag open ng acct sakanila and 6 months average balance, etc.

Ang "must" pag nag create ka ng EE profile, yung IELTS saka yung work experience. Without these ineligible ang profile mo. Read here http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-who.asp

Mine was FSW (w/o PNP). For EE acct creation, bank certificate lang with the required funds. Nung nabigyan na ng ITA, dun na yung 6 months bank statement for each account I included in the initial bank cert.

If you plan to go PNP, check if the province requires that you have the funds in your acct some months BEFORE applying (e.g. for SINP, it's 3 months before).

Hello, may slot bang uploadan nung bank cert when creating the profile? Parang wala akong maalala nung gumawa ako months ago.

Wala pa syang upload tab for bank cert upon creation of EE profile pero iddeclare mo kung ano yung amount in CAD.

Great, thanks! Kala ko may namiss ako eh. So wala naman kelangan before magcreate ng EE other than that declaration "how much in CAD will you be bringing to Canada" pero siyempre ideal case meron ka na ng amount na dineclare mo or at least very close to that.

Hi guys!
We were told in the PDOS that you can continue SSS contributions while you are in Canada and that the SSS has a designated representative stationed in the Philippine Consulate in Toronto and then later on, you can link your Philippine SSS with your Canada Pension Plan in future.

Has anyone here attempted to continue their SSS contributions even while in Canada?

Has anyone already gone to the SSS International Affairs Desk in the SSS main office in East Ave.?

Please and thank you po, mga Kabayan!

Hello, yung sister ko po kasi naiwan sa philippines yearrrs ago, she's a single mom and has 5 year old daughter, mag aapply na lang po siya ng express entry, tinutulungan ko po siya sa pag apply niya, meron lang po akong tanong:

1. (I don't know if this is a dumb question, I tried reading about NOC many times but still confused so pardon me) Ano po kaya NOC niya? graduate po siya ng bachelor of science in medical technology, has 10+ years experience as med tech.

5. just wondering how long will it take the process, yung pinakamabilis and pinakamatagal na process?

thanks in advance and pardon me if these are dumb questions

Hi guys!

newbie here, so I recently applied for EE, but my CRS score never met the minimum requirement; meron ba dito na may similar score but eventually got a PNP nomination or ITA? I learned na 400+ kasi yung cut-off ng draws right. I applied for BC PNP, pero they require a valid job offer so parang chicken and egg senario. Any advice kung ano ginawa nyo para tumaas pa score nyo.

btw, I'm here in the US on H1B, pero getting a green card is a bit of a challenge for me, plus the current administration is tightening the whole immigration process, which is why I'm looking at canada as the best alternative.

Salamat!

-Check 3212 or 3211. You can also search thru this link. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/noc.asp
Her duties/job description should match with the noc description.
2. yung proof of funds po ba dapat meron na before mag gawa ng profile?
Not required. Only required after getting an invitation to apply (ITA)
-Not required. Also not required na nasa bank ng canada even after ITA.
4. ma-dedetect po ba na yung ibang funds pag galing US? and pwede po kaya yun? kasi po baka daw po magkulang ang sister ko sa funds kaya if ever magpapatulong po kami sa father namin.
- After receiving ITA, reqd sya magsubmit ng latest 6mos bank statement. Dito pedeng makita na may pumasok na malaking amount from other account. But there are some applicants getting funds from parents and declaring it as gift deed. I suggest you read more on this once ITA has been received.
5. just wondering how long will it take the process, yung pinakamabilis and pinakamatagal na process?
Varies greatly. 2 months to a year. Pag may irregularities, it can take longer.
- General. Minimum 6 on all fields. The higher the better as this will have impact on her overall score.
