Hi Guys,

I called my bank and found that my DD has been cashed on 17th Feb, 2010. However, I haven't heard
anything yet. What does that mean? Do they also deduct the money in case of a rejection? :-\ Thanks in advance.

Hi All,

I applied on 25th january and CIO received my application on 2nd of Feb 2010.

I got late due to resubmission.

First i send it to Bufflo,usa and i get all packet back and they requested to send all packet to NS,Canada.

Still waiting for updates....

NOW I WOULD LIKE TO ASK THAT IF APPLICATION IS RESEND THEN WHAT IS THE DATE OF SUBMISSION BECAUSE ONE OF MY FRIEND RESUMIT HIS APPLICATION .

Date of submission is when you resubmit the form. Its like you submit a whole new application. Just attach the letter + annex + new application forms.

If your DD is cashed, its means your application is approved. CIC opens applications with DD first then Applications with Credit Cards. You will get AOR soon. If you applied with email address, kindly also check your junk folder or add "@ cic.gov.ca" in your safe email list.

I check my email (inobx, spam, trash) all the time, but no emails still now....I have added "@ cic.gov.ca" in my email safe list......anyways, how long does it take for the 2nd part of the application (me being in Canada, FSK2)..sending it to Buffalo...any idea ? Thanks again...this is a great forum....wish all the luck to everybody....

Second part of application time depends upon the Canadian High Commission in target country. In some countries, like Singapore it takes hardly 1-2 months. In Pakistan, it approximately takes 6-12 month. I am not sure about Buffalo, you need to check Buffalo applicant’s thread.

Hi , guys i got AOR email from NS on 28th feb 2010.. will send the docs soon .. i have heard that they have changed the way of verifying the experience ? is that true now they don't call and verify they just send a verification letter directly to that co.

My home country is India (passport)......any idea how much time it might take...even though I have been working in Germany from past 8 yrs. Thanks.
