Please help me i am little bit confused about docs.. i have all the docs ready with my IELTS score. now i am confused about PROOF OF FUND. i have invested my money in shares and have property on my name... as per INR i have to show only 6-7 lakhs and my shres are worth RS 10 lakhs and property 30 lakhs.. do u thnk they count shares and property valuation? i have 1.5 lakhs in my bank account.. thanks in advance

I am sorry to state that you can't show shares and property as proof of fund. CIC only accepts fixed deposit and bank statement as proof of funds. They want liquid money. I advise try to sell your shares whenever possible and keep the money in bank. Also mutual funds and LIC are also not taken into account.

Only FD and bank statement.

Dear Yahoo India, thanks for reply. i just gone through the application guide. on page 32 states that Indicate the amount (in Canadian dollars) of unencumbered, transferable and available funds that you have. This amount can include the value of any property that you own, but should not include jewellery, cars or other personal assets.

doesnt mean that we can show property???? yes can sell all shares as soon as gt visa but what abt proof @t present which i need to show.. shud i sell shares now??

Congrats GODLOVEME ! No one received AOR from CIO whos initial application reached to CIO's office from 7th Jan 2010 to 20th Jan 2010. What is the reason GODLOVEME got his AOR so early overlapping so many applications?
