Hi, I have sent out my application form to NS-CIO on 4th Jan, 2010 and they received it on 7th Jan, 2010. My NOC# is 2121. I haven't seen a lot of applicant within this category. I am in Research @ U of C. I have applied as FSK2 (arranged employment). Haven't received any reply yet? Any body can suggest how much time it might take? :-\ Thanks a lot...Inder.

Hi staph_aureus,

Approximate time of first reply is from 60-75 Days. So according to the current timeline, Januray 2010 candidates processing just started, you may be going to get AOR in few days... hopefully, as anner777 got in 50 days. If you have applied with Demand Draft (DD) (not with credit card), then you can ask your bank about DD staus. I am putting you in list so you can track candidates with dates and reponse. I hope it will help.

What is Resend Application ??? Is that sending the all SUPPORTING documents ? I have got some letter from CIO, but I have not even opened it as I recived it at my old address, and new ppl have to still fwd it to me. I got it a week ago !!!!

Resend means CIO NS has asked to apply again for initial approval.

APPLICATION WAS SENT ON 30TH DEC AND RECEIVED IN CIO OFFICE ON 5TH JAN,,, I M NEW ON THIS FORUM. ANY ONE OF YOU CAN GUIDE WHEN DO WE NORMALLY GET RESPONSE FROM CIO?. DO THEY SEND A CONFIRMATION EMAIL OR SEND A LETTER WITH APPLICATION NUMBER FOR TRACKING....
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKES TO GET VISA FOR PAKISTANIS THESE DAYS.

Hi Arkhan,

There is no confirmation email or letter from CIO and there is no Tracking number until your application is approved. Good news is you applied on 5th Jan. CIO is currently sending acknowledgement (Acceptance or Rejection) to December and January beginning applicants. I hope you will receive response in few days.

Time line is approximately 6-12 month for Processing and Visa in Pakistan

Asked me to complete the information regarding my wife in page 2 of generic form, also to complete the background declaration form for her!
My wife has already the PR card and the officer in CIC call center advised me to not include her in application!
two different words! I dont know what to do!

The CIC Officer meant not to include her to accompany you in the application BUT the form/instruction guide requires all your dependents either accompanying OR not accompanying you to be included in the form. So put all the info on her on the forms BUT tick the part where your wife is not accompanying you.
