i have sent ma documents to Nova Scotia on 2nd of Nov 2009, they transfered my documents to ma local visa office i.e. Sydney(Aus) on 18th Jan. And i'm also waiting for medical. Applied Under 6242

Haal chaal wadhiya hai bai ji, main october ch apply kita si got my first AOR in December and then sent my full app to CHC New Delhi in the first week if April. Still waiting for news.

Baaki tuhade question baare mainu ni lagda tuhano aavdi girl friend de points mil sakde hai, cause the legal definition of a common law relationship is as follows:

"A union of two people not formalized in the customary manner as prescribed by law but created by an agreement to marry followed by Cohabitation."

So according to the above definition first of all you should have an agreement to marry and then it must be followed by Cohabitation. Now even if you get this legal agreement made you will still not be able to show that you are living together (Read Cohabitation) since she is in Canada and you in Australia.
