Flagpoling with rental car

Hi all,

If any one of you had experience in flagpoling with rental car at Rainbow bridge or other border, could you please share your experience? Any issue at car renting location or during flagpoling?

I landed at Carway border in Alberta, no one check driver license or registration, just drove through Canadian border to The US border without asked anything only COPR, passport and work permit are required.

I did with rental car from enterprise and nobody at border asked about rental car, however they did checked my car papers or rental agreement and said nothing about it, so no problem with rental car....

Do we have to tell Enterprise that we will be crossing the border? Please advise as I'm planning to do flagpole next week and not sure if I can take rental car and what things I need to do.

No need to tell, just bring registration and rental paper evidence. You will be ok.

No questions asked. Just drive with rental car. no problem. I took Enterprise

It doesn't matter to them which type of car you take. Keep the car paper work handy though.
