Financial evaluation form - Question 9

Hi,

This is my first post.
I am preparing my application to sponsor my mother (without any co-signer) and I am very confused as to what to put in box question 9 on the form IMM5768E.

It says:

9. Total income available to sponsor
Add amounts in boxes 16 (h) and 19 (h) and enter
total here

There are 3 amounts in line 16 (h) from year 1 to 3. To get the number required, do I add all 3 numbers together or just pick the number which is the amount from the latest year?

Question 9 is asking for your income for each of three years. There are boxes for your 2013, 2012, and 2011 income.

Similarly, in question 16(h) there are 3 totals: for the years 2013, 2012 and 2011.

The three totals in 16(h) go in the three corresponding boxes in question 9.

I see that the form has been updated. I got the 'old' one which I actually printed in the same month it was updated! Now it makes more sense with 3 boxes instead of 1. Thank you for sending the link.

You may want to check that ALL the forms you are using are the most up to date version. It could save problems later.
