I'm applying for Canadian Student Visa from India for Sep 2016 Intake. I've the following documents ready:

Educational Documents:
1)College Offer Letter
2)College 1st Sem Fee receipt
3)College Visa Purpose letter
4) Educational Documents I.e. Marks cards from 10th Std till my completion of degree including each semester marks sheet with backlogs.
5)IELTS
6)SOP
7)Digital Photo

Financial Documents:
1) GIC
2) Loan Sanction Letter for 7Lakhs
3)My Fathers IT Returns
4) Sponsor Affidavit from my father - He has his own business which started 6months back and his annual income as per IT returns is 5 Lakhs. There is no much bank balance.

I'm confused with the sponsor and affidavit. Can i show my father as Sponsor and how should my affidavit should be? Please help me.

You can show the CIC that your father will sponsor you by getting him to write a letter of sponsorship. It should include your home address and mention how much your father earns on average per year, and state explicitly that he is content with sponsoring you. This is because they need to believe your father will continuously support you and not cut off your funds mid-way through. Have your father sign and date the letter. It will help tremendously to submit any documents showing your father's income, such as his income tax return slips.
