Been over a year......and it's finally done. For all those who helped....Thank you so much, you realize the need for support during the process.

For all those that argued despite their ignorance seeing that this may be the only place they can feel important....online.....well I hope once your spouses/partners get here, they help make you a better person and feel important. Canada is slowly becoming victimized by selfishness, pigheads, rudeness, and complete lack of culture......we need alternate input to help remind us what's important.

So again...thanks....and best of luck to everyone, unfortunately, CIC is pretty messed up, so everyone does need a bit of luck.

....Haha, that coming from "Luckyman".....but in all honestly, I'm just lucky to have found my soul mate.....it's all worth it for her.

Lucky shares the reality of a lot of us who through no fault of our own have been repeatedly derailed and set aside either by intent or by the inept nature of a department in conflict.

Are you aware that it takes several months to actually put the application together? No? Well it does.

You aren't understanding what I'm stating.

For Luckyman, the "over a year" is including getting the application together, medicals, background checks AND The actual insane waiting times. So there's no need to treat him like he's an idiot.

Not true. I knew before applying we were looking at 15 months. Last week it jumped to 19.

Same here, it was 10 months then the Harper Government shut down offices and sent files to Manila and now the time jumps to 14 months.

What a load of hogwash to traipse into this forum and wax: "you knew what you were getting into".
