Visa processing times updated. Brazil = 75 days India = 70 days

Brazil is at 74 days now. It gets worse every week. It was 69 a few weeks ago.

As far as I understand, they start once your file is complete, which is when they officially get biometrics. In the case of India, it's a processing time of 52 days, which is better than Brazil (71 days now). Basically the end of August (21 days in July and 31 days in August).

They took a month to update the biometrics in the portal? The time starts from when the biometrics is in the portal. Where are you applying from?

The employer is working with her for the letter. They will put the specific dates for her. I will get her to gather her house ownership docs too. Do we bother submitting the bank statements with the application? Your help is much appreciated.

No, probably very little time if any. I am thinking of submitting her letter of employment from the federal govt that she has been given vacation days, the document gives info on her retirement pension plan, is there anything else? Thanks again!

Thank you Naturgri. I have started to fill out the form. I think we will ask for 10-14 days. She told me that her friend has some family here. They might be willing to write a letter inviting her. Could that help?
