Filling the forms for my parent?

Hello everyone, recently I am gathering all information from my father to fill out the forms: IMM 0008 F, IMM 5669 F and IMM 5406 F.

I know based on the instruction guide, the principal applicant (My father) has to complete these forms by himself. However, he doesn't know any English. My question is can I explain the words to him, fill out the form for him, and get him to sign the forms?

He needs to understand that he is still responsible in everything in the form, even you are the one who translate and filled for him. Or he can hire a immigration consultant (choose a good one is not easy...) and do all the translation/filling. In that case he needs to fill also the Representative form
