hi bohfil, ganun din ung case namin ni hubby, we didn't submit any employment contract in all companies that we've worked for even our current employer. as advised by our consultant, we made an affidavit stating the reason why we couldn't provide. just be sure to submit other docs as proof of employment.

Just my two cents.
But wouldn't it be better to have your kid delivered in Canada? I'm not sure how the case is treated but my assumption is that the child would inherit whatever VISA the parent has (in your case PR). If you go back to the Philippines and have your kid registered here, wouldn't this be considered as an additional member to be processed by the Manila office (meaning you would have to get RP passport, etc.... process again for additional member)? Unless you would still be required to acquire Philippine passport for the new born even if it was born in Canada.

To the seniors.... appreciate if you could share your thoughts as well.

correct...so u have to leave ur child here in case u want to go back to canada right after u delivered...better have it there, citizen pa anak mo...

im under the latest rules (after june 2010), ms. maharlika. sabi sa instruction, do not send additional documents once you have submitted all the documents to CIO. Sa bagong rule kasi, isusubmit na all documents (orig/xerox, pof etc) except the medicals to CIO. wala na kaming isusubmit sa VO Manila office once ma-notify kami ng CIO for medicals. I-transfer na lang ng CIO lahat ng submitted docs to VO Manila. Sa old rule po ata, may 120 days ka to submit the required docs to VO Manila. Sa bagong rule po (after June 2010), Hindi na po ganun. Ang una pong gagawin ng applicant ay submit all docs required at once to CIO. Bawal daw magpahabol ng additional documents. Pero nakasulat din sa instructions nila na notify the VO incase my changes sa family members, address, work etc. Sa palagay ko po ang notification ng changes ay mangyayari kapag may reference number na application ko. Sa ngayon na waiting ako kung i-aapprove ng CIO ang application namin ay di pa ako pwedeng magbigay ng notifcation ng changes or magbigay pa ng addtional documents. Dami na pong changes sa procedures nila.

i suggest, upon submission of full docs, attach na ur payment and letter stating the changes you're going to make..or u can do it like mine na inquire ka muna to really make sure..at also to delay the payment kc, medyo mahal din yun, ano?

huwag mo na e wait na bbgyan na ng meds req. saka na e change baka maging dehado pa..sa tingin ko lang

Sana matulungan nio ako. I married my gf last September. Nakuha na namin ung marriage certificate namin from local registry sa pasay. Iaapply namin ito sa NSO para maauthenticate kasi kelangan namin isubmit sa visa office. Meron bang nakakaalam ng tamang proseso nito at kung gano katagal bago makakuha ng NSO copy ng marriage certificate? Meron pa kaming 3 1/2 mos to submit all our documents to Visa office.

AFAIK, its the local civil registrar who forwards the dox to the nso. u have to verify it from their office if they have already done so and ask how long its going to take b4 u can request for a secpa of the dox from nso.

that's the practice here in my hometown, im not sure if its d same in your location. i suggest u ask first ur local civil registrar's office personnel.

meron ako nabasa na forum na magkaiba daw.

NO DEROGATORY/NO RECORD---ito daw ideal, squeaky clean record kumbaga
NO CRIMINAL RECORD--- if u were involved in a case but either it was dismissed or u won it

if its no criminal record, may mga addl requirements daw ang embassy
