follow-up question: what if I completed my medical exam last June 2009; however, my wife & child completed theirs this November 2009, does that mean that our visa will have different expiration dates?

@sigrid...can I answer ur last question..bcoz we have the same situation...my kids and I had medicals done last july 29 here in the phils, while hubby had his last aug4 in another country... Our visa stamp indicates July 29,2010 expiry....

@ CHe74... also booked CIIP today... last week of January na lang ang earliest... Wala pa akong booking... mga March na lang ako buy.

I received them back via DHL also. Aside from the passports, the package included the documents that they returned (TOR, police clearance, diploma, bank cert., etc.). They also returned the 3 photos in a small brown envelope that we sent together with the initial application. I wonder why It also contains a letter from the embassy, the form 'Confirmation of Permanent Residence', immunization record form and instructions from CFO on how to register for their pre-departure seminars.

correction: They returned 5 photos, not 3; and these came from the 6 photos that we sent together with the full application, not the initial application. They just took 1 photo out of the 6 and returned the 5.

arexie, yung sinabi mong last week of January nalang ang earliest, ito ba yung CIIP seminar? meaning wala na slots for 2009 pala. if yes kasi, pabook narin ako tomorrow, kasi plan ko 1st week of feb umalis.

Mejo matagal ung PPR now it can take up to 2 months from what i've read. Decision Made is the status you want to see after ng medicals. Hopefully bago pasko matangap mo na ung PPR mo. get ready!

kabayans....got an email reply from London CHC regarding my queries....they attached the request for passport in PDF file (attached PPR does not contain my name and file number)....

I am still waiting for the actual letter before I could send my passports. I am supposed to have my Christmas vacation in the Philippines after 4 years of working abroad but due to this unexpected situation, i will be having it in January after I get my passport with visa. I am still overwhelmed with what God does and still doing in my application. All the glory belongs to HIM!
