as I review the link on how to register in Manitoba.... You need to be active, practicing registered nurses in a country outside canada... so what if my last hospital work was year 2006 and until now Im not working as a nurse. But under NOC 3152 you shld have atleast 1yr working experience during the last 10years... do you have any input on this?!?
Can I register now while waiting for my PR application?!?
thanks
For as long as you have at least 1 year nursing practice experience and this experience occured within the last 10 years, then you are quallified for registration...
Yes, In Manitoba, you can start your registration process before landing in Canada provided you have to sit for the exam within one year from the approval. My papers were submitted 2 months ago to crnm. I submitted my high school and college TOR to IQAS, a separate agency that will assess your school credentials, then IQAS will forward it to CRNM. By then my registration application is complete and processing commences and expected to be finalized after 3 months. IQAS by the way is also a 3 months waiting process, varies depending on the number of applications at hand...
But this in not true with other provinces, you must be a landed immigrant to qualify for registration..LET US GO TO WINNIPEG, MANITOBA GUYS...
Now, after 2 years working as RN in Manitoba, then apply for nursing registration in Ontario. If you have the RN license from Manitoba, madali na lang ang Ontario registration, paperworks lang, no more exams...
