Hi Mitz, that is really a good news! Did they ask for additional documents to submit?

Thanks. I don't have the request with me yet but I'm on my way to pick it up from our agency. Will update the forum as soon as I have it.

did you stay in US for atleast 6mos?!? apply ka na agad ng FBI report...it takes 8-12wks processing. yun naging cause of delay ng application ko. dpat nag PPR ako last Nov 2010 pa pero buti na lang din kse di ako mkakalabas ng Phil kse Nov batch di pa nababalik ang pp til now.

Mag livescan fingerprinting ka dyan sa Phil...did u know the link how to apply for FBI clearance?!?

I went to the states last year pero less than 6 months naman, pero hinihingan pa rin nila ako. As in inabot talaga 8 weeks syo? Ano linagamo sa social security number? yung sss number ba natin dito?

Hi Mitz,

You can leave the Social Security Number blank if you dont have one from the US. Did you get the medical instruction already?

Hi Mitz,

I suggest you write them a letter to request for the waiver of the FBI clearance stating that you stayed in the US for less than 6 months and it takes 8 to 12 weeks to process an FBI clearance so you might not be able to comply within the prescribed deadline.

Good luck!

i have my SSN in US, i stayed here since 2005 til now... just leave it blank if you dont have one. start applying now once they requested it, you have to comply... lagi na de deny yung fingerprinting ko kse di nila mabasa kya everytime re submit ako start from zero na nman...imagine tumagal ng more than 6mos. kaya submit muna ako ng state police clearance & still they requested for fbi together w/ our med request & rprf. (fyi, im just a spouse) principal applicant got the FBi report after first application... he did fingerprinting on his own correctly thats why no delay, after 3mos he got the report

to prevent delay of FBI report & unacceptable fingerprinting...go to agency there which do livescan fingerprinting & submit the form right away together w/ your ccard pyt of $18. If you have relatives here in US use their mailing address & ask them later on to mail the report to you.

Thanks to all of you who has been so kind and unselfish to share what you know. Nakakatuwa kse mas gumagaan loob ko pag may mga suggestions ako na nababasa. I will try to write a letter and at the same time I will start securing FBI certificate. Good thing my mom is in the U.S. I can use her add. I will keep you posted. Super thanks to everyone. God bless!
