I agree with Ego2canada too, dapat nadetect na ng consultant nyo ito bago pinadal yung papers nyo.. based dun sa post nyo, 1 yr lang sya as restaurant manager and 1yr experience as nurse and 2 yrs work sa restaurant.. kung as a nurse ang NOC 1 yr lang talaga and restaurant manager na NOC ganun din. I dont think macredit yung 2 years na habang nag aaral sya. This is just my own opinion ha. BTW Puede bng malaman kung anung consultancy firm kayo?
I agree. Sorry to say, but based on what you said your consultant sounds noobish :( Or di kaya medyo tuliro ang agent nyo na madami hinahandle? PM me, I could refer you to my consultant if you want. ;) better yet, this forum has everthing you need.

Cheers & God Bless ;)

hello everyone!

Thank God i found this forum... glad to have kababayans here... anyways, i just would like to ask some questions regarding the application for FSW... my husband and I sent our application last May 2010 to Nova Scotia. They replied last october 2010 lang and gave us 120 days to pass all the documents sa CEM. Deadline na po namin sa February... Complete na po documents namin and we are planning to pass it this week, but our consultant just told us na if we wanna withdraw daw sa pag apply, cause recently lang merong isa sa mga kasama namin na na deny ng CEM... AT first 67 points na po sya... na replyan na nga po sya ng Nova Scotia for final assessment...but when he the CEM replied and returned his documents, naka lagay lang dun na 61 point lang sya... sa 4 years nyang work experience, 1year lang nacredit... so it means ba, hindi guarantee na na approve ka na ng Nova Scotia? tapos pag dating sa CEM ideny ka? I'm just worried lang kasi dahil baka yung din mangyari samin... kasi sabi ng consultant namin halos same lang daw experience namin nung kasama naming na-deny...

My husband is the principal applicant... he's 23 and a graduate of BSN. While he was taking up nursing, he worked as a service crew in a restaurant until he graduated.. that's for 2 years... then he became the restaurant manager sa resto ng relative nya for 1 year and 3 months... and after that, he worked as a clinic nurse for more than a year... he took ielts na and he only got 14 points out of 16... wala po kaming relatives sa canada and no arrange employment... so our agency told us 69 points daw kami... so we really expect na ma approve kami tat's why apply kami agad... but then, just this week they just told us, na yung service crew baka di daw ma credit sa work experience... so instead na more than 4 years sana daw ang work experience namin, baka daw ang icredit lang isa 1 year na restaurant manager and clinic nurse na 1yr.. so if ever ganyan ang mangyayari, our score will become 65 na lng... i'm planning to withdraw kasi sayang lang ang nagastos namin na hindi kami pala naka 67 points... i'm just wondering if meron po ba sa inyong ganyang situation din? meron po bang na approve na naka below 67points? kasi according din sa consultant namin, meron din silang kilala na below 67 points pero na approve dahil maaki daw ang dineclare na proof of funds... i hope someone could answer my questions... we just don't know what to do next after namin nalaman na may na deny na kahit 67 points sana sya at na approve na ng Nova Scotia...

Thanks... :-[
Just a friendly advise prettylittle GG.. Please do not proceed to send your full docs. with your current credit points. The way I calculate your points it is as follows:

Educ. 20
IELTS 14
Experience 17 (accdg. to you 1yr & 3 mos as restaurant manager & 1yr as clinical nurse for a total
of 2 yrs, PROVIDED that both belong to NOC 0 and category A & B)
Age 10
Adaptability 4 if you as spouse also finished a bachelors degree
TOTAL 65 POINTS

You have 2 options:
1. Ask your husband to sit in for another round for IELTS and aim for 16pts.to cover the 2pts short OR
2. Defer your application and gain more experience and wait for your category to be included in the future Ministerial Instructions.

Above is just a non professional advise, it's still your decision. I'm hoping for the best for you. GOODLUCK!

Hi! Sino ang consultant mo? Sad to say hindi po talaga counted yung service crew experience ng husband mo, dapat from the start sinabi na ng consultant mo yun at dapat alam nila yung NOC 0631 Restaurant and Food Service Managers.

carl128 said:
BTW, whats the NOC ba na inaplyan nyo? as a nurse or as a restaurant manager?

HI ALL. THANKS FOR THIS INFO.

i think our consultant is just after for the consultation fee. di kami agad sinabihan na yung service crew hindi pwede. at first ako alam ko parang di pwde sa NOC 0631 ang service crew lang, and i even ask them several times kung pwede yun, sabi naman nila oo. so we agreed to send the application sa NS. kung nalaman ko lang na di yun pwede di sanda we waited for several months pa para ma achieve ang biggest points sa experience.. and i admit mali din kami, medyo eager lang talaga din kami to work abroad kaya nagkaganun..

so sabi ng consultnt namin either withdraw and apply sa new law, or to continue kasi baka din daw magkaroon ng substituted evaluation na mangyayari... dagdagan lang daw namin yung Proof of funds namin.and baka ma convince rin ang officer... wherein according to them, meron din silang na handle na ganun... below 67 sya but then ginawa nyang 1M yung POF.

so my husband and i decided to withdraw na lng and he'll sit again for ielts on january...
i hope this time maka 16 points na sya...

i just want to ask, if pag wiwithdraw ba kami now, and re apply again sa new law maybe on February 2011 (pag anjan na ang result ng IELTS ng husband ko), how many months na po ang processing under sa new law?

thanks po sa inyong lahat... i didn't expect to get a response from you guys... i may be young and medyo neophyte pa sa mga ganitong bagay but i hope and pray ma approve kami... we're too determined to work and lived sa canada... good luck po satin lahat...

Pretty little GG, can you not grab a schedule for IELTS this December? You wont need to withdraw as you still have time since you mentioned sa feb. pa yun deadline of submission mo. Sayang din naman yun binayaran mo sa application at sa Agent mo. I am saying you can proceed only "if" makakuha sya 16pts sa IELTS then you can GO GO!

I would also think that you should try to take the IELTS first to see if you will get a score of 16 before withdrawing.

We actually have the same deadline Feb 4 naman sa akin. Cge kaya pa yan, keep your spirit high! GO GO..

hello,

question lang regarding the passports. I already sent my passport to the Canadian Embassy via LBC lang. kaso nawala ko yung receipt. Na check ko pa naman na na received na nila kaso yung tracking number nung collect or pabalik, nawala ko na yung receipt. Yung collect ba na LBC papadala ng Canadian Embassy, papadala ba nila yun or will they inform me via email that they will send my passports back or do I need to call LBC if have to collect something from them? Mga 3 weeks lang naman, kaso I am not sure how will I receive the passports back. Thank you.
