RN and CI are totally different.. check the duties and responsibilities in this link. This duties should reflect on your Reference letters or COE to be considered an RN.

Try calculating your points based in 1yr. RN experience; kung maka 67 points ka nothing to worry.

Dito rin kami based ngayon sa Dubai pero d ko pa sure kung sakali dito kami tutulak papuntang Canada o sa Pinas din. Anong profession mo at anong stage na kayo sa application nyo? Accountant ako at waiting for MR.

Guys nalilito ako, what is COA, CIIP? yung PDOS alam ko pero required ba lahat itong mga to bago ka umalis puntang canada? Andito kasi kami sa dubai, we are planning to go home at diyan kami lilipad in case makuha namin visa.

Please help and advise naman mga kabayan, Kung required talaga lahat yan san po ang mga offices or contact nos. nila puwede po pakipost na din.

yes pwede na.. I applied May 15 nakuha ko slot July 28 almost 2.5 months na waiting.. heto requirements:

Original accomplished CIIP registration form
Invitation letter from the Canadian Embassy Manila
Photocopy of the information page of Passport (unless if the passport has been submitted to the Embassy for visa stamping
Photocopy of Visa (if available)
1 Passport size photo for you and every qualified member intending to join the program
2 copies of updated resume of the principal applicant and the spouse and for adult dependents who are working

kasama ng registration forms at invitation letter if you receive your MR... Canada Immigration and Integration Project (CIIP) is funded ng Canadian Govt para sa new immigrants.. turuan ka nila how to prepare CV (Canadian Standards); links sa job search ng every proviince, links how to obtain licensed in canada with regards sa profession mo, current labor job markets ng every province.. sa second day meron one on one consultation etc.; ibibigay din syo mga email addres ng mga kasama mo sa seminars na fellow immigrants.. dun pa lang my networking na agad. CIIP Office at the 7th Floor, Port Royal Place, 118 Rada St., Legaspi Village Makati City

helo dgm i am not sure if you were the one who asked me about the same situation pero im gonna answer it anyway

yup same tayo ng NOC.. im under nurse and CI, and i was assessed for both. Hmm.. medyo mahirap case mo kasi as far as i know they wont accept CIs na, only RNs who are directly in contact with patients. or in other words, RNs who practice their profession in handling patients and not students. Even if you say you cannot work as a CI without RN status, still, your job description does not fit that of an RN.. kaya i suggest you assess your chance with 1 year nursing experience, if you pass, then go apply agad! if not, then try gaining points in other areas, like taking masteral, or learning french, having perfect 16 ielts, get a job offer, or get married! hehe. well, get married with the right person thats what i mean...

you applying for with the family? been a staff nurse for 1 year and a CI for almost 3 years. i hope theyhi po.would really consider my CI experience, tho nurse instructor is written as a sub category as RN, im still uncertain about it coz 2 of my friends got denied after submitting docs to VO despite being an ER nurse for 5 years, she has a family also and the other a CI for 3 years but single.

i hope everything ends well for us.

hello everyone! new here so medyo nangangapa pa lang... bt m glad i've read posts here that are quite similar to my situation. been working as Public Health Nurse for 8 years at the City Health Office and another 8 years at the Department of Health Regional Office. i was not even sure if they'll accept my work experience under the NOC for nurses. anyway, CIO replied positively. had our medical exams last August and m waiting for the next advise from the VO. hope my experience will inspire a lot of Filipina PHNs out there...thank u imbubbles for enlightening me on my queries...

everyday of my life... nadadaanan ko ang CANADIAN EMBASSY - RCBC TOWER...
actually dun pa ako sa harapan kumukuha ng ride pauwi lagi...
parang grotto ko na nga yun eh... araw araw pinagdarasal na sana magparamdam naman na sila...
ang sakit sa loob isipin na wala pa ako nararating... to think na naging honest naman ako sa lahat...
at very diligent kumpletuhin lahat ng demands nila...

im still hanging in the air,,, i don't really know if i will fall... or will be able to reach the clouds...
i wanna land in canada too... : it's a dream... and i pray it will come true the soonest time possible that god will permit...

IMO, your files were re-qued for VO's review... bale, parang full application mo is not feb 8 na but on the date you passed your letter of explanation kaya medyo matagal uli respond ng VO sa yo... but please don't quote me on this, opinyon ko lang to kasi ganun din nangyari sa isang kakilala, he was asked to submit additional docs then medyo natagalan din nag-"in process" ecas nya after nya makasubmit... just hang on there and keep on praying.. ang mahalaga hindi pa DM ang ecas mo or wala kang narereceive na rejection from CEM... God is always good patience and prayer works!

it's september, i believe the VO's response to your case will be soonest , mabilis lang ang araw

hi, i'm new to this forum. i'm actually in the stage of gathering dox for vo manila. my concern is about the photo specifications in appendix b of the vo checklist, qccordingly, the required photo id's should be produced from an untouched negative..My problem is that i just couldn't find any photoshop in london that generates photo id's from film, the film era is completely phased out in terms of getting passport size photos.. thus my only option is to do the digital one.
Will my photos be accepted even if they're from digital cam?

jho, we had our pictures taken from a professional studio but they also used a digital camera and the embassy accepted it. hope that helps
