don sa isang forwarder that i talked to, 13K yuong buong cost ng shipping tapos 6 to 7 boxes nga ang kasya don sa space mo... so if you divide it, mas mura pa talaga sya than mag excess baggage ka... anyway, halos sabay lang kayo makakarating in canada coz they pick it up 2 weeks before you leave... by the time dumating na sa canada yon, yon din yuong time na may apartment or sariling tuluyan na din kayo so di na hassle... and besides, kailangan talagang mauuna ka sa canada than your personal effects...

25Kgs x 2 at 1 Kgs din ba knuha mo? so if dalawa kami ni hubby it's 25Kgs x 4? May bayad ba for that? kasi if yes, mas mura na ata ung sinsabi ni TABS... what do u think?

Guys, piliin nyo ung magaan na type ng luggage...kasi some can weight up to 3.5kg, sayang din un 4-5jeans na dapat yon hehehe, there are really good light weight and tough luggage from Samsonite, Urban and Voyager also...ok ung mga materials na hindi nababasa or another way also is to put everything in a plastic bag ung nasa loob na mga damit (I usually used plain white garbage bags).

TABS, may bayad ba for every luggage u carry? like for example 4pcs of 25kgs luggage(for hubby and I)? Mas mura ba dyan sa forwarder? like how much? need to canvass as early as now para maka-budget

I know how it is kapag madami kayo sa family... I prettty got a good deal with a forwarder... bka interested ka... pm me kung interasado ka.. kasi i learned kapag nagpa forward ka ng gamit, you pay for the space so kahit 1 box lang ang ifoforward mo, you still pay the space na good for 6-7 balikbayan boxes... kami ngayon, since hindi masyado mahal naman pala, we are bringing som emore items para less ang bibilhin when we get there...

To all na nakakuha na ng visa, think about this option lalo na kung madami kayo sa family... I could refer a very good forwarder at pwede pa sila angmag pack for you...

BTW, PDOS done and we have a confirmed flight...

Good Morning guys.. I am new to this forum..I just want know your comment about my case. Nova Scotia received our application on Sept 28,2009. I passed the assessment last Dec2009. Last Jan 27,2010 our application started to be processed. They sent an email that within 45 days I will receive our medical referral. But until this time, I have not received the referral.We only have 3 months time to before the end of 1 year processing. I need your comment on my case. I am really confused and nervous about the outcome of our application..

Hi! I would like to ask re the Proof of Funds upon landing. Do they consider bank certificates aside from the CAD dollars in cash. Or do we really need to have them changed to bank notes and travellers checks? Thanks...

for every passenegr, you are allowed 2 pc ng luggage weighing 24K or 50lbs... kung dalawa kayo, 4 luggages... plus hand carry na 7 K na maliit na bag na kasya sa loob ng airplane and a hand bag or a laptop bag...

here is the thing... most of the luggages are 10 lbs na kaagad... so that leaves you less than 40lbs... if you are getting the really light bags, it is around 111-15 thousand per pc... nag canvass kasi ako ng samsonite, american tourister, delsey... these are the pretty good brands and they have a line na talagang magagaan... in my opinion din kasi, if you have naman kahit 2 luggages, pwede ng i box yuong iba like what char said kaso nga lang, again, limited ka dahil sa weight... kami, our baggage allowance is 12 kasi 6 kami... but with all the kids stuff and of course kahit papano, ayaw ko naman gumastos kaagad pag dating don, I realize, ok din mag pa forward ng stuff dahil nga walang weight limit only space ang kalaban mo...

let us all remember that when we get there and starting all over again, kailangan natin bumili ng kama, lutuan, kutsilyo, kobiyertos, bedsheets, towels, and so many things and on top of that, we have to pay rent... so kung pwede kang makatipid, yon ang gawin natin...

sa akin po 5pcs in each sealed envelope with our respective names and birhtdays at the back. 1 photo of me and my spouse dinikit ko sa form, stapled to be exact.

MERON AKO NEWS. i don't know if i should be happy or not, the canadian embassy just called me a few minutes ago, and they are scheduling us for an interview this july 26 at the embassy. my situation is, we are applying as a common-law with my girlfriend... my concerns are:


1. where is canadian embassy? im from cebu so i presume its in manila but where exactly?
2. what could be the reason why we will be undergoing an interview?
3. what could be possible questions during the interview?
4. should we carry more documents? or whatsoever?

please help... in nervous and anxious about this
