Hi Everyone!
Newbie here! Thank God nakita ko itong forum na ito. I learn so much from this site each day and keeps me hopeful on the progress of our application.
We initially applied under the old process in September 2006. In November 2006, we got our reply and informed us na it will take 6 years. Okay fine. We were establishing pa naman our careers here so it was okay for us to wait.
Last year, the embassy wrote us and encouraged us to pull out our application and re-apply under the new process (First Instructions). So we pulled it out, requested for a refund and filed our application last March. We just received our AOR from CIO-NS last June 11, 2010.
Ayan, so I am now gathering our documents. Meron sana akong a few questions to ask and I hope some of you can answer them. Here goes:
1. Should all the documents we shall submit original? Panu ang diploma?
2. Can we just give the NSO birth certificate and omit giving the baptismal?
3. How can I show that my husband (principal) has an aunt and uncle in Canada? I am planning to attach a marriage or birth certificate of my father-in-law and my husband's aunt or uncles to show lineage. Kaso I am having a hard time gathering the NSO copy for both. Is there any way I can show lineag?
4. As to employment, can I just give a job certificate? I am not sure if all our employment contracts are intact.
5. With regard proof of funds, how many months of bank statements should I submit? We are planning to sell our car in order to fill up the cash required for our migration (in our case $20400 for 4 people). Can I just give an explanation and attach a copy of the deed of sale to explain the sudden influx of big cash? Do stocks have value? What about insurance termination value, can I include them to meet the cash required? We have a mortgage and several personal properties, how do I get their valuation (please help on this)?
Thank you guys. I am crossing my fingers that all our plans will push through... in the near future.
Goodluck to us!
