After how many days naging "Decision Made" ang e-cas after PPR? Anyone from those who got their visas already? I really don't know but this stage of the application is making me freaking nuts I wanna have my visa already. :-[
nars: ano yung e-cas mo ngayon?

In my case, what worries me is that 9 days after the PPR (June 7) which pinadala ko naman on June 8th, nag add sila ng statement sa loob ng "In process" that "Medical results have been received." - but its not yet changed to "Decision Made" - I'll wait for it till Thursday after lunch, I'll send them an e-mail. By experience, e-cas changes around this time (10-11PM) between Mon-Wednesday.

Officially, my visa waiting time is 20 days. Hopefully, bukas magkita na kami ni Mr. DHL.

Thanks!

kyle: hope to hear from you soon - on how it went with your affidavit of explanation. I strongly suggest to keep an eye on your mobile phone, your e-mail as they might just e-mail you to inform and you have to talk to your postman na talaga! (promise to bribe him if you have to, ask someone else to promise him extra cash if it gets delivered asap). remember once accepted na affidavit mo diretso ka nilang bibigyan ng medical request via snail mail.

honestly, i bribed mine, it only took him a few hours to do the special delivery direct to my office cubicle the day that it landed in our city post office. I asked the security guard of our office to promise him some money if he delivers any package under my name. First package na dumating is an SSS loan check and he did actually delivered it the same day, but he was corrected that it is from an embassy in makati.

when the medical request arrived, I only have 50 pesos on my wallet, tamad mag withdraw - so I just thanked the postman, shook his hands for a good job and did not give him the 50 kasi baka naman maging 'korepot' ako, i ended up parang lying to him - but he can't complain further, eh trabaho naman talaga nya yun. So pinapunta ko yung security guard the next day. The postman yelled to him when they met coz he told him that he already gave it to me, but he was then surprised that the guard took the effort to travel from office to the post office just to give him a Ninoy that he deserves. Dati, PPR is still via snail mail - so the guard told him that I'm expecting one more document. It was considered a security deposit na rin - and the postman now smiles at me whenever he seems me near the building...

I heard another case (not in this forum, but by word of mouth), that an applicant was just waiting without any follow-up for five months, only to know that the medical request letter was just at the local post office - pending for delivery. It is only until the Embassy called her up and asked her why she did not comply with the medical request... She was informed that if it is not the post office's fault, they will deny her due to negligence or loss of interest (baka daw sya lang tung nag delay2x - doesnt make sense). So she asked for the local post office to do an affidavit. I'm not sure what happened next...

Naku hindi ganun, i know from Nova Scotia they will issue a license but will not be able to endorse it to other province after 2 years of safe nursing practice. Also wala silang SSN -- sa US lng yun.
Ganun ba?

Hi Everyone!

Newbie here! Thank God nakita ko itong forum na ito. I learn so much from this site each day and keeps me hopeful on the progress of our application.

We initially applied under the old process in September 2006. In November 2006, we got our reply and informed us na it will take 6 years. Okay fine. We were establishing pa naman our careers here so it was okay for us to wait.

Last year, the embassy wrote us and encouraged us to pull out our application and re-apply under the new process (First Instructions). So we pulled it out, requested for a refund and filed our application last March. We just received our AOR from CIO-NS last June 11, 2010.

Ayan, so I am now gathering our documents. Meron sana akong a few questions to ask and I hope some of you can answer them. Here goes:

1. Should all the documents we shall submit original? Panu ang diploma?
2. Can we just give the NSO birth certificate and omit giving the baptismal?
3. How can I show that my husband (principal) has an aunt and uncle in Canada? I am planning to attach a marriage or birth certificate of my father-in-law and my husband's aunt or uncles to show lineage. Kaso I am having a hard time gathering the NSO copy for both. Is there any way I can show lineag?
4. As to employment, can I just give a job certificate? I am not sure if all our employment contracts are intact.
5. With regard proof of funds, how many months of bank statements should I submit? We are planning to sell our car in order to fill up the cash required for our migration (in our case $20400 for 4 people). Can I just give an explanation and attach a copy of the deed of sale to explain the sudden influx of big cash? Do stocks have value? What about insurance termination value, can I include them to meet the cash required? We have a mortgage and several personal properties, how do I get their valuation (please help on this)?

Thank you guys. I am crossing my fingers that all our plans will push through... in the near future.

Goodluck to us! :D

what kind of proof did you send? cert of deposit or cert of time deposit? as i understand kc, if its cert of savings deposit, they may ask you again after some time jst to see if it moves/changes. in our case kasi, i provided with a cert of time deposit. luckily, di nmn cla ask for another. and photocopy lng submit ko :D in your case, i think safe na bawasan ng konti, as long as the amount is still within what is required from you. but its safer if you'll keep it intact

hope this helps

Hi Newbie here..

I applied last Dec 2004 but got the acknowledgement last March 2005. Then last year I receive a mail asking if I am still interested. I read in one of the post that she received a mail requesting for pull-out and apply for the new process. The letter I received was not stated that way. It says if you're pulling out then reply to them else do nothing and they'll continue with the process.

Has anyone here applied last 2004 or 2005? Any news abt your application? Or has anyone considered updating their records? I would like to do but isnt sure if it would help hasten my application. Since the 5 years of waiting, I have been to Canada 3 times on a tourist visa. The last was in May 2010. Any advise from anyone is much appreciated.
