Hello,

My husband went through same process. Had been requested to have ECG due to HBP. It took us almost a month before Nationwide forwarded our medical.

@ imbubbles - nasa initial stage pa lang kami....my problem is since we are not based in the Philippines, medyo mahirap kumuha ng mga docs na kailangan....yun ang dilemma ko talaga. And re sa proof of funds, most of our savings kasi is in Japanese bank kaya medyo yun pa ang aalamin namin kung papaano kami kukuha ng bank draft doon. Sorry tanong lang po, is bank draft different from bank certificate?

yup totally different.. bank draft is like a check, nakalagay iyong amount na babayaran mo in this case your application fee at ii-encash ng CIO, Novia Scotia un. bank certificate is a legal document stating the amount you have in the bank.. certification lang sya for whatever purpose it may serve :)

whaaaa!!!nakakatawa....me and hubby visited our doctor 2 days ago.nalaman mataas ang sugar ko, si hubby mataas ang BP. 150/100.pero normally 130/90 lang talaga BP nya pero say nya natakot daw sya during blood extraction. so what our doc did was to give him losartan and for me metformin na low doses lang..

si hubby naman doesnt experience any chest pain, difficulty of breathing or any decrease urine output kasi pina creatinine din sya...

say ko sa kanya, kung magiging pabigat sya sa Canadian goverment pagdating nya dun, dapat di na sya nakakalakad...feeling ko its jusy protocol for them to diagnosed correct condition and to advice correct treatment....

ANY OUTPUT, FRIENDS?

SUGGESTIONS:

2. eat before you go there especially kids
3. drink plenty of water as in 5 liters evryday
4. kung may money, magpacheck up prior
5. bring kids immunization records, they ask for it
6. bring extra money, for additional tests
8. b there before 7 am, preferrably wed-fri kc di marami tao

NEED URGENT ADVICE FROM THE SENIORS. SALAMAT PO IN ADVANCE!

lagay mo lahat ng previous work experience mo sa history but provide contract, JD, emp certificate for those under the official 38 NOC list :)

@ caloy,

thanks sa response. really mean a lot. was ur husband required to do other test after that ecg? were u called again by the dmp for follow up checks or medications?

Will the dmp suggest medications to be taken?

@imbubbles,

Hello,

No worries, yes he was asked to have cholesterol and blood sugar check afterwards. Don't worry for as long as your husband is healthy you'll be right then. The only hassle would be the waiting time/schedule time for check up.

help please...

regarding sa CENOMAR, do i have to secure for my son who's almost 15 y.o.? I have already mine and my spouse on hand.

thank you.

Hi Caloy,

I think they already require the new passport - the maroon one. Better secure now.

im quite relieved that ACADEMIc is accepted, bcoz an agent told me that it will not be accepted by the embassy thanks and god bless

::) Almost a month before ka makakuha.........

Hi Caloy,

Are you having your passport renewed on your own? You didn't engage the services of a travel agency? I was just wondering because when I had the passports of my dependents renewed to machine readable last month, it only took us less than a week for the personal appearance (PA) schedule at DFA after I submitted the renewal application forms to the travel agency. It was a breeze and the new passports were released in 2 weeks time. Also, I can always ask them to schedule our PA first thing in the morning (around 7am) so I don't have to take a leave of absence from work.

The downside though is you have to pay a little bit more (P1,500 per passport)...but you cut back on the processing time.

By the way, Anscor Casto Tours and Travel was the travel agency just in case you will be interested.
