Filipino CPAs to Canada, What are your plans?

Hi! Ask ko lang medyo nakakalito na kasi, magsusubmit pa lang ako ng application.. Almost done na sa lahat ng requirements, except for one, kelangan ko ba mag submit ng copy ng PRC cert and license? Or dapat nun nag pa WES ako sinama ko? I'm applying for NOC 1111

Hello everyone po!

Please kindly give me suggestions if where to start, CGA or CPA na agad
i will start my processing pa lang. im here in Dubai and would like to get associated with CGA or CPA..

Im CPA in Philippines. graduated 2002 CPA on 2006. i will start WES Assessment next week and Ielts.

Here are my inquiries:

1. Do i need to apply CGA program or CPA program or CMA (kasi sabi nila mag-unify na daw)
2. Can i do it while im here in Dubai?
3. Please give me any websites so that i can start now.

hello - sa tingin ko makakatulong yan but depending pa rin sa field na papasukan mo.

try looking at www.workopolis.ca para makita mo ano ang hinahanap ng mga employers in certain job positions

Finally found a this thread! Hello guys! Maybe you can shed some light on this. I'm really confused on what to take up next.

I'm graduating next month (fingers crossed!) but I still have no idea what to do after that: take the CPA board or MBA , since my family is waiting for our visa nalang. I mean, sayang lang kung mag-review school ako and mag-board exam kasi hindi rin reciprocated yung license diyan. We had our meds done last March/April and sent them the documents/kit immediately. Oh, and how does ICAO accept our transfer credits?

hi datuganol, may i ask ilan un nacredit sayo nun nagpaassess ka sa CMA?
im choosing between CMA and CGA, torn ako sa 2. pipili na lang ako kung ano sa kanilang 2 ang mas maraming macredit sakin.hahaha ang mahaaaal kasi ng course fees.

Content not found na po yung page I just want to ask po if macre-credit ng CPA-Ontario yung CPA designation sa Philippines, or mas better if mag MBA nalang? LICP dependant here and continous education lang daw kami, so kahit graduate na po ako ng Management Accounting, I can't work. Just want to ask your opinion guys, if I'll proceed with review school and board exam or proceed with MBA nalang Taking into consideration time constraint and financial capabilities, that is Salamat po sa sasagot!
