Mine reached CIO on 15 Sept. and even I don't have any info abt it. Fee has not been charged and file haven't came back. So chill out for few days.

Hi all,

I thank Canada Immigration forum and all its members for the support and views from everyone regarding the application. It really helped me a lot to prepare my initial application to CIO, NS.

I received my AOR on 13 Nov 2009. I received it within 58 days. I applied under the category 4131.

Application sent to CIO: 12th Sept 2009
Application received by CIO: 16th Sept 2009
DD encashed: 03 Nov 2009
AOR (e-mail from CIO to send full application): 13 Nov 2009

Congrats BSB. Which e-mail address did the AOR come from? I will update my spam filter to accept communications from that ID. Also, does the e-mail say that this is the only confirmation or does it say a hard copy AOR will be sent by mail? There have been posts which refer to waiting for the hard copy whereas others mentioned just to move forward based on the e-mail.

Well, The reply from CIO came from the e-mail id:
FSW-Centralized-Intake-Office@cic.gc.ca

It doesnt state anything regarding sending of any hardcopy...

Even I have the same question that should I proceed further considering the e-mail or should I wait for the hard copy from CIO

unfortunately my application was sent back yesterday. i forgot to fill out the section where in i need to put manila philippines for visa office to process application.

can i submit a handwritten application just to make sure that i don't miss anything on the forms?

Yes you can noneng, although just make just to write elegible enough. Did you check e-cas or how did you know it was sent back? got an email?

i remember that you said in one of the thread that you send addendum regarding the visa office that you forgot to fill in. what happen? didnt it help?
