"We transferred your application to the New York office on October 19, 2010. The New York office may contact you.

Your application was reviewed and we started processing on October 27, 2010"

regarding the tone used on my previous questions, I'm sorry if I seem to be rude or in disbelief.. I just wanted to know a source of info.. since there isn't, it's ok to assume things based on facts posted on previous pages.. and based on the previous pages (I haven't read all of them before, but now I did) we can see some pattern that can be used as evidence that they reached the cap..

About the processing time updated.. well.. it's great that they have updated it.. but on the other hand, it just makes me a little bit more anxious and sad that I won't be able to get the PR before the next summer.. but whatever.. considering I'm somewhere on the 13th month, there will be another 4 months to wait..

Checking for information on CIC, I came accross an article regarding the caps and all (can't post link on this forum apparently). I'll get all the questions that I still have about the article and my specific case, plus the newly updated information regarding the processing time and I'll send an e-mail to my lawyer. I'll post here the relevant parts once he reply the e-mail. I'll also mention some cases of users of this board (of cource, not personal information, just the dates and these things) which have timelines similar to mine as a comparable..

what's your location? it could take upto 7-10 business days for the cheap brown letter to be delivered. It took 1 day in my case coz I'm living in the city, just 20 blocks away from "Avenue of the Americas"

I am in Toronto but visa officer is not ready to send me medical yet becoz i recieved reply from
NY and my file is still under review with officer

I will be E-mail them again next week after becoz 90 days period expired tomorrow

I am in lots of stress, i am going India next week and i promised my wife that i will bring her with me but now i can't

Hi Parul,

last time I mailed to these people they said

"An initial assessment of your application has been completed and your selection interview has been waived.
However, you may still be required to attend an interview for the purpose of ensuring that you and your dependants (if applicable) are admissible to Canada."

This time they said in response to my mail

"This is in response to your email (see below).
The status of your application has not changed since our last reply to you.
Please understand that our office cannot provide you with an update of case status by email on a regular basis, but rest assured that we will contact you for the next stage of the processing of your file"

It takes 7 bus days so almost 1.5 week to reach torronto

This is about the CAIPS Notes. I have not yet requested them.

1) Did they actually help? I mean does it tell you that you had sufficient points or where the application is stuck?

2) Did you do it through http://caipsnotes.com/index.shtml or are u in Canada and did on you own? I am US so have to use some service.
