I got an agency to process my EE application however i received an email from them that i need to go to the office to get my Confirmation/file no. and pay the balance amount. i want to know what is that file no. for? does it mean my papers were already approve for PR?

OH,

It will be your File number. That's it.

That will mean, they have created your EE profile. Do ask for CIC login credentials and security questions as well, in that way you can track your application yourself.

Since you have hired a consultant, you should ask these questions to them. Why are you paying them??
