I m June 2012 Applicant and still its showing Application & Medical received .

Did you try to contact them ? when is the last time they contacted you ? can you share your complete timeline please ?

" Your file is in Ottawa for processing and will be reviewed by one of our officers.

Medical results:
We have requested for an extension on the validity of your medical results. This request has been approved and the validity of your results prolonged.

Case status:
An officer will be in contact with you in due course. In the meantime, we would ask for your patience and for you not to send follow-up requests for status to our office."

It is really discouraging to see that there is still some june 2012 not receiving ppr , maybe the strike slowed things down

in case they contact for history update, IMHO it looks like they are processing the file. you should be hopeful, i think you will get there in this november.

My ecas still shows the same no update: "Application Received" and when you click on it, it shows the famous two lines: 1. application received date and 2. medical was received.

For the rprf I am among the Jun 18[th] 2013 crowd.

And I have question is the email means my application is in "process"?

I have same status from June 2012 , Nobody knows if that mean file is in process or just waiting to be in "in process".

Waw! June 2012, you should definitely get in touch with them. Are you applying from overseas? Do you come from troubled countries. One main reason for long delay is the "security check" it can take anywhere from 4 weeks to 20 months.
