Two weeks ago.
I am expecting to having a baby this month, so I asked them about list of document which should I send them to update my file.
As a result they sent to me this answer with a standard notes.

Your baby is citizen so it does not affect your application. I had the same situation mine was born in February. They did not address it when I emailed about the new born!

no it doesn't affect your application process since your child is born in Canada so he/she is a Canadian citizen.

Hi Guys,

I should mention my whole case,

App received to CIC: 25 July 2012
MED request: Sep 2012
MED done and received by CIC: Dec 2012
RPRF: June 2013
In process: 22 Aug 2013
passport request: still waiting

We have a birth of child in Canada on June 2013 and we emailed CIC his birth certificate on 28 Aug 2013 (just after our application status changed to In process). Based on the timelines which I am seeing here on blog, our decision on file should have been done by now. Do any one knows by adding a family member (even though he is born in Canada) can cause delay on immigration file.

It should be in the activity part. But it looks like at the time they print out ur gcms notes, ur file is still with CIO.

How can I come to know about it? Is this usually mentioned in the notes?

File status: open

hello HLR your GCMS was printed in the end of sep and you got IN PROCESS on 7 th oct . that means it was in cio when it was generated.and transferred to cpp-o around 7 oct .your file is not assigned to any imm. officer that why due dates are blank. I guess these will be updated by cpp-o.my first gcms is same like yours.
