federal Timelines share for QSW sydney applicants - file CPP-Ottawa

Lots of my friends same time line as you, I don't know why mine is so slow, after 15 months changed nothing.

Can you share your complete timeline and under what program did you get csq

hi,can I ask some questions? Cause I applyed as a QSW July 23, and my Ecas never changed until now.
1), are you apply under PEQ programme?
2), did cic ask you for additional information after almost one year after you applyed?
3),after your Ecas change to in process, how long it takes to ppr?

here are the answers
1)yes I got csq under PEQ programme.(June 2012 applied and got in July 2012 )in 3-4 weeks .
2)no they didnt ask for any documents. but I paid rprf (landing fee)myself in April 2013. I also sent the copy of my extended WORK PERMIT in april 2013 myself. In sept 2013 I sent an email and asked for my status , asked for medical renewal and also sent updated personal history from aug 2012 to present. cpp-o answered me after one day that my medical is renewed for one more year. and my e- cas status went in process same day.
3)my status went in process on 23 sep 2013 and decision made on 25 sep 2013 so about 4 weeks.

HI Everyone,
I applied For Federal PR after getting CSQ from Montreal. My application was received on April 24 2013 and then followed by medicals, Police Certificates etc and finally last week ecas changes to in process (16 October we start processing) . Any Idea how long it will take for passport request .

I have two questions

1. There is no pnp program for Quebec. Should we consider QSW comparable to FSW and pnp? If this is the case then,

for 2012 QSW/pnp applicants, people (majority of pnp and some QSW) who applied till October 2012 have either got ppr or DM

for 2013 QSW/pnp applicants, people (majority of the pnp and no QSW) who applied till February 2013 have either got ppr or DM

2. In this forum (just for QSW) who is the latest applicant who got either DM or PPR? (I know jasmin13, Aug 2012 applicant and harvie, Sep 2012 applicant)


Did anyone notice that they have not updated the processing time for this quarter? May be they want to issue more ppr and DM so the processing time can show decreasing trend.


Any thoughts?

Federal part, AOR at July 23, 2012.
Med request at Sep 10, 2012.
Med received at Oct 4, 2012.
At Aug 13,2013. Contact me for additional information.
Aug 14, 2013. Med resault renewed, Criminal record renewed.
Problem is my ECAS never show in process.
I applyed under regular skill worker program, I did my GCMS at Sep, 2013.
A step called criminality still processing since Aug 2012 and not done yet.
Also MP in my city told me, back ground check still underway.
That's all I know for my case right now. And I'm still in endless waiting

Thanks Hav, another question, how did you update your work permit to CPP-O? Just send an Email and give them your info and attach docs?

Franklee, Ecas doesn't always track properly for QSW. Mine still shows 'Application received' even though I know for a fact that I'm actually in process (Ottawa told me). Don't be too concerned about that status.

What countries have you lived in? I'm pretty certain the criminality has to be checked for each country you lived in and some countries are extremely slow (based on what my friend told me - she works for CIC).

I applied on April 9, and got in process Sept 3. I haven't heard anything since. I paid my RPRF. They received it (according to GCMS notes). I think you have a long way to go.... :-S

Franklee, Ecas doesn't always track properly for QSW. Mine still shows 'Application received' even though I know for a fact that I'm actually in process (Ottawa told me). Don't be too concerned about that status.

What do you mean by Aug 14, 2013. Med result renewed? Did they ask you to redo your medicals or did they inform you that it was extended (renewed)? Hope you have ppr soon.

My file was transferred to Ottawa in mid-April. I haven't got my GCMS notes - I only applied for them about a week ago so I have no details on Eligibility. I paid my RPRF on June 18th and in August I sent a case-specific enquiry to Ottawa to check they had received it, which is when I discovered that I was already 'in process.'
