One 2006 Bangladeshi applicant passed away last evening due to massive heart attack. He was not a forum member.

Needless to say, long processing time was one of the reasons. He is survived by his widow and a son of 18 months old.

Please join me to pray for the departed soul.

RIP may Allah give him place beside HIM, and strength to his bereaved family.

joe,
French site is the only site which gives breakdown of 10422 persons from pre feb 2008 backloggers awaiting decision country visa post wise wheras the English site quoted by you does not give this information. From the french site, applicants of all countries will get a clear idea as to how many people from their country can expect to get PR. Please let us know your views on this.

Hello Everyone:

From the remaining pre=2008 cases available on cic web are those upto 30 Sept. My status was changed from IP to DM and Now blank during Dec/January therefore, the latest status will be different as most of our status changed quickly during those months. I think picture will be more clear after another updates.

By the way there are very few in these forums who got refund check or applicants with current status IP as most of us got blank status and when write case specific query they reply automated that due to long term growth and etc. .... your file has been terminated. I am not sure what about for the cases that are still "IP", do they got the same reply..???

Absolutely Spot on.. I believe that there would be some light or darkness post February / verdict. Crazy days its been… who knew that CIC would stand up and do this to back loggers..

Another Twist in Status Checking Process' tale after IP >> DM >> Blank >> No Records Error...

* Note: Some users may experience difficulties authenticating, we are working on a resolution

Hi j.sohi,

The line written in Red color
( * Note: Some users may experience difficulties authenticating, we are working on a resolution)
can be seen when someone visit the website to check his / her status, In fact it will appear before we put our immigration related detail.
