Dear friends,

In the main PR application form ( IM 0008), under the "Details of Family members", do I have to paste photo of my spouse? (He is the dependant) or should I leave it blank (the space reserved for family member's photo), since I am submitting 4 loose photos. If I have to paste, can I use photo with the same dimensions as the PR photos?

Please let me know, thank you very much

Place immigration photos in an envelope and staple the envelope to the second page of the application being careful not to put a staple through the photos. Retrieved from 2nd link above

Thank you AEO!

We are all set to submit the application, first thing in the morning! We are excited, and nervous (in a good way)

Thanks again :)

One last question guys!

Is it required to have the date printed behind the PR photos? Saw it in a thread, but not sure if it iwas for PR federal application or just PR card.

Thank you, thank you :)

Hi Folks
I just discovered that I've made a mistake :o when I was filling my Federal application. The mistake was on the ANNEXE 1 ANTECEDENTS/DECLARATION” form especially on the question 9 (page 1 of the form).
Is it possible to let buffalo know about it and change that error by introducing a new page 1 of the ANNEXE 1 ANTECEDENTS/DECLARATION?
By the way I see something about “Case Specific e-mail Enquiry” on buffalo website . There is a Form (electronic) available for applicant who wish to report important changes regarding their application.
What do you think about my case? Can I use the “Case Specific e-mail enquiry” for that?

Please help.

@ ae03yy I need your expertise as well

PS: I already got my AOR+VM since March and I have done my VM.

Sigh! I am eagerly waiting for the day when one of us finally posts here with the news that they got their ppr.....

I know friend... seems like it's been an yr since Freedom got set free hopefully smthg will come this week for us all :-[

@cesag
I'm not too sure how to deal with your mistake. My best advice is that you email them to ask, but you might wanna mail them if you dont get an answer. Especially now that they are careful with checking what info we provide is true.
I notice they answer next day if I email Mon and Tues morning. so send them an email in the morning and see what they say. Mention your File#, DOB, Full name in all correspondence.
I dont think the Case Specific Enquiry works though.

Tomorrow will be 11 months since I sent my application to Buffalo. It has been a long wait. I have just made myself busy with other stuff not to think about when? or why?

If you guys remember, I asked Buffalo on May 20, about the status of my application and they responded as:

"Dear Madam / Sir,

Your application is in queue for review. An exact review schedule is not yet available. No further action is required by you at this time.

We thank you for your patience and for keeping your correspondence to a minimum.

Please note that you are responsible for maintaining valid status as long as you remain in Canada. If your residential or mailing address changes, you must notify our office.

Regards,

Canadian Consulate General Buffalo

Immigration Section"

Guess what? I got the same response last week when I asked them again after more than 2 months! Really what are they doing? What kind of queue is that? Atleast they can provide us with an approximate date! That queue is going to take for ever.

Yes, I will keep smiling, but guys it is not easy. They are just putting us in so much trouble by their backlog. What else can I say? I know this is making lots of problems for all of us. I really hope we get some thing this week!

I hope you have a good week!

@ae03yy
I already used the Case Specific Enquiry to send them a new page 1 of the Annexe 1 to change the one they have in my file in buffalo. I also emailed them directly using enquiry email address and I receive acknowledge receipt from the Buffalo visa office.
By the way I read at on the page 4 of the ANNEXE 1 the following sentence at the end of “Declaration ”paragraph : <<je previendrai immediatement le bureau canadien des visas ou j’ai presente ma demande si certaines des informations ou reponses fournies dans les formulaires de demande changent >>
So, I guess that what I just did in my case by sending them a new page 1 changing the previous one.

Thanks you for your help

Peace and Love to you all

hadal do u know ur BF'D? Within a month time, I'd have reach 15yrs on temporary status in Canada... come on Buffalo, it's time to set me free! I can even provide Timmies.

Dear 2011 applicants,

If possible, please update your timelines, if you received your AOR, IA, etc! Thanks :)

:P keep smilin' ya :P

I know hadal and that's why i'm upset at Buffalo: whenever we find a pattern...just at that moment, they break it! Hold still your dream. Don't let it go friend... no matter what we'll all have ppr. The million dollar question is when? as for me, i think you have an advance on my file cz when i email them they just state my file is under process. My hope & dream is to do my landing on the day i first arrive in Canada. It is like you open a new page after 15yrs to enter in a different moment. That's my dream! And I hope and pray it happens.
