I read the entire thread and i must say i concur with what wcikkk said about ae03yy! i will also like to say that ae03yy's input is indispensable and was wondering if ae03yy can drop in from time to time to advice and clarify concerns of those of us who are still in the process of getting ppr. I for one will so much appreciate it ae03yy.!!!!

hey Biochemgal09 and ittech it seems we have the same timeline!!! do you guys think we will be getting ppr by say May of Next year?

Thanks Man4terre, I try my best to pop in and be of help. I don't have internet access for now, aside from my cell and so I try answering from work at lunch time mostly. I love this forum and all of u are just great. I remember feeling so lonely before I joined the thread and forum. Now, everyday or every other day s.o. drops in a line or two and it helps make the thread alive. So, thank u all for sharing here.

I want to share some information with you guys. I received an email from my representative about 2010 Buffalo PR applicants.
"
Dear Mr. XXXX
Your application is currently being processed and will not be finalized before the end of 2011 and unfortunately you will not get your permanent residence before February 2012. I suggest you to renew your visa as soon as possible in order to have a valid status in Canada. Your application for permanent residence will be completed in 2012. CIC has suspended the processing of Skill Worker Application till the end of 2011 to meet his annual objectives in other program. They will resume the processing of Skill Worker Application in the beginning of January 2012. Regards"

This is really sad, IF TRUE, for all people who were expecting something to happen in the near future. I just want to get some feedback from you guys on this news.

Epic fail. I wonder if it can get any worse for Quebec applicants. This actually explains a lot and it is definitely true for CPP-Ottawa. PNP and CEC applicants from March-June 2011 are getting their PPR's, yet not a single Quebec applicant got anything as far as I know. What was the point of transferring me to Ottawa then? I could have stayed in Buffalo with the same zero result. "Expedite process" my ass. Next month will be my 10th month and by this time most of the files according to Ottawa are finalized.There is no hope. I'm demoralized.

100% right...I see PNP takes on average 6-8 months to finalize the case with full file evaluation, while we have to wait minimum one year to get the PR. Not to forget that federal needs to evaluate our files from only two prospective medical and security.

That what irritates me the most. The have not much to work with, yet it takes them ages.

That's right. Applied end of April and already got PPR. And I'm waiting since February. I bet our files were ready to be finalized long time ago, but they don't do it because they "need to meet objectives" somewhere else. They could have at least notified us that our files have been suspended. Do they realize we all have plans for our life and these plans may depend on that piece of paper they ought to send us?
