For those who ask about the photo size...

Ask the DMP office about the photo size in the place you want to do the medical , they have crisp answer about the size...this is their job and they do it every day...

thankyou biochemgal09 i will call em today and see , do you have any idea about how long gonna take the rest after the medical exam ?

good luck

Hi,
At the rate at which our applications are being processed, we should get PPR atleast before May! I am really hoping to have it by May so that I dont have to pay international student fees which is $7000 compared to $1300 payed by citizen or PR!!!

Any pics should do normally, as long as they're taken within an year. They don't even have to be identical so take it easy folks and smile.

OK guys, I am getting frustrated now. It has been close to 13 months to my file in Buffalo.

-I did not receive any email regarding my file getting transferred ?
-My eCas still says : File Received. NOT in Process
-They have not asked for my Landing Fees ?
-Last email say: My file is in queue for review, but some of my friends are telling me that they are doing background checks which has no fix day to end.

What should i do ?????

Ecas is not always reliable. If they say it's pending review it means : 1. it's in process and 2. it's just seated on s.o desk now. When they'll review yours they'll ask for RRPF and passport. You're getting there. I don't know why it is going slowly, but I got PPR in 14months (Aug 27 - Oct ) So, so go figure why they are so slow. if you had asked for CAIPS you'd know.

Finally... Finally I saw it ends.

I got my PPR two days ago, 21 NOV!!

After 15 months of everlasting waiting, it's all over.

It was quite dramatic because I got PPR email from my lawyer in the flight of way back to my country.

All I have to do at this point is getting a new passport and send it to my lawyer so that she can mail it to VISA office.

It seems eCAS is not reliable at all. Because not only it doesn't indicate that my file is completed, but also it didn't even notify that my file has been transferred to NYC office.

Since they asked me to send passport to NYC, I guess my file has been transferred from Buffalo to NYC few weeks or months ago.

Anyway, I'm so glad it's all over.

I'd like to show my respect and appreciation to our dear friend AE03YY.

You've been always positive and encouraging, and it really helped me to calm down.

Thanks again.

PS. One last question for those who already got PPR.
Does VISA office ask to give finger print or any other action other than PPR request?
I wouldn't want to go back to CANADA during my vacation in my country.

congrats Wcikkk! good news! so happy for you :D

congratulations wcikkk!

I read the entire thread and i must say i concur with what wcikkk said about ae03yy! i will also like to say that ae03yy's input is indispensable and was wondering if ae03yy can drop in from time to time to advice and clarify concerns of those of us who are still in the process of getting ppr. I for one will so much appreciate it ae03yy.!!!!

hey Biochemgal09 and ittech it seems we have the same timeline!!! do you guys think we will be getting ppr by say May of Next year?

I am delighted! WOW BIG CONGRATS wickkk. And, no they'll only need your PPT, RPRF if not paid, and maybe 2 pics. Check the PPR email from your lawyer, all the instructions are in there. Upon landing you'll need pics for PR card, but that's in fee weeks...

Félicitation, now it's time for Clément to gget some goood news... am so excited!! 8)

felicitations wcikkk bon courage pour le reste
