Federal AOR for OCT, NOV, DEC 2016

Those who did their medical exam recently ...Did anyone have a fourth line on ecas? I wonder if the clinic sent the results.

Can anyone explain to me how come people whot AOR in Feb 2017 got Med request; while my AOR was november 2016 and till date I did not received med request.
BTW im outland applicants and my VO, seems Singapore.

I got my AOR on November 17th, they started processing my application on December 21st and until now not a sign of an MR. Almost 4 months... I don't know how the prioritize stuff there, but I'm considering calling them...

Really???they stared processing our application February 14th and AOR the same day,29th March got MR,you are waiting too long.also BC is processing the same day,14th February,so I think you should call them,there is no reason why you are waiting 4 months.

I got my AOR in Nov and Medical Request in Dec. I was asked for landing fee and police certificates on Feb 27th. However since then, there is no update...

Don't worry. It depends from vo. Vo Paris sent the request for medicals some weeks after Aor but other vo after months.

Same case here, and I'm from Brazil. Like they said in the other comments above, it must vary considerably from country to country and probably not on a first-come first-served logic..

We'll just have to wait I suppose.. Worse part is not being able to call them from outside of Canada.

Yeah... Already sent 2 emails asking for some explanation about the status of my application, but never got any replies....

I think you should call them or informe them with web form. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/contacts/web-form.asp

Oh oh, now you got me thinking... I applied from Brazil but I sent my application to the Sydney Office... Did I screw up? Is the Sydney office exclusive to inland applicants? I thought everybody was supposed to send their applications to Sydney no matter where they apply from and the office itself coordinates with the VO. Was I dead wrong?

You are fast,we also did medical exam 31/03/2017,medical is not received till today,maybe soon,after that,we show medical passed,paid landing fee and waiting several more months.

This kind of timelines makes me feel there's something wrong going on. However I heard that no matter how soon or late you get MR, at the end the overall processing time for all applicants will be the same. share your thoughts.

I think that's right. looks like AOR and MR updates varies from file to file. but PPR and visa stamping is approximately same time for mostly all applicants except some files
