On IMM1344 form, page 1, section 7, what should be the answer to Q7 a., ??

Will it be the date COPR is received by the sponsor (Canadian PR) or will it be the date the sponsor receives his/her PR card??

Kindly suggest in detail.

This is the date for SPONSOR when he/she got PR or Citizenship.

Toronto will be your port of entry - make sure there is enough time between flights (more than 1 hour). My husbands landing took about 50 minutes then he went to service canada to get his SIN. You will have to clear customs in toronto as this is where you entered canada. No issues just have your connecting flight boarding pass ready

I have seen many people recommend leaving longer than an hour between flights. I think it really depends on the day but could easily take longer than the 50 minutes. Try to leave a few hours between the flights if you can to avoid stress, as you do have to do it at the first airport you land at, you can't wait until Vancouver.

If he or she is citizen it doesn’t matter.
If the sponsor is PR in Canada she is not allowed to stay longer than 4 weeks.
In my point of the view 2/3 weeks is fine.

My husbands was in progress for 8 months. Total processing time was 1 month and 5 days!! Dont get your hopes up too high although things do happen!

Thanks for your response. We applied February 2018 and have heard nothing after it was sent to Mexico
