ok, now it looks like it is adding up. Our application also got stuck in security . My FIL also had military background but they never really asked for any additional docs. Looks like entered into the infinite loop now with no timeline whatsoever aka non-routine applications. It's an irony how 70-75 years old parents are delayed as non-routine in the name of security for a visitor visa.

But the funny thing is that my dad already had visitor twice so don’t know why taking this long
