ok, now it looks like it is adding up. Our application also got stuck in security . My FIL also had military background but they never really asked for any additional docs. Looks like entered into the infinite loop now with no timeline whatsoever aka non-routine applications. It's an irony how 70-75 years old parents are delayed as non-routine in the name of security for a visitor visa.

But the funny thing is that my dad already had visitor twice so don’t know why taking this long

Is your sister is affording her whole visit or u r her fund provider ?
I want to know that what documents did u show in application of your sister ??

• Your current employment situation does not show that you are financially established in your country of residence.
• You have limited employment possibilities in your country of residence.

Applied on 29th Feb 2024 (Visit Visa)
Please help me in understanding the decision.
I am currently doing a managerial job in UAE in a construction company.
i think my salary is good enough to support my trip.
bank statement with closing balance of 13,000 CAD

Am applying visitor visa on my own finance
My sister is PR of Canada and she is housewife, so do i need to show the funds proof or any other doc of my brother in law along with invitation letter ??
