Still in limbo. background check now in 12th month.
Still waiting. been in background check for 1 year now. Medicals just got extended to 2023. Hoping that is not a bad sign that they have another year to procrastinate
Date changed on new spousal tracker. The first update i've had in that account since august 2021
thats great i hope mine will also change ... my lawyer is handling my case lets hope for the best.
I applied from outland on Feb 2 2022 and just got confirmation of passed medical which was done here in Canada 2weeks ago (July4). Will be 2months since Ive been in Canada on family visit visa. what are the chances of approval or refusal? And what’s the timeline for next reply. Thanks
we have sent one webform for the status update in March 2022 they did not get back to us up till now. yesterday my lawyer sent another webform hoping this time they will get back to us.

I have not been given an update since last October. Just filed a complaint to the OIC so that I can get GCMS notes that I ordered months ago - this - only so that I can hire a consultant who can inquire about our file.
I saw some New applications which was launched in this year they already got their PPR ... mine is stuck in "security background check is not started yet". From more than 6 months... what the hell they are doing

Background Check changed to completed: July 2022

waiting for pre arrival/ PPR/ Any update from immigration
continues follow ups through MP line, biweekly raising webforms for status update/expedite, ordering GCMS each month. Doing each and everything that’s possible for me to do just to get out of this misery
Question: What happens next after officer recommended approval? From other timelines, Background & eligibility gets approved on same day followed by pre arrival and then PPR. My eligibility still shows in processing where background is completed. What’s coming next from your experience??
Any help understanding next possible steps would be greatly appreciated?
