Hey guys... kinda freaking out here and wanted some advice. I did not include the birth certificate in my application and noticed it in the checklist just now after sending it. My reason was because one of the country specific documents for Korean applications is a “family relation certificate” and I thought those two were the same but after googling again I found out that it might be different things. Korea also doesn’t have birth certificates but rather something called “basic certificates” so that is also confusing me. What should I do at this point?? Is it possible to upload it online when I link my application or upload some sort of explanation? Or should I expect the application to be sent back to me?

You can try using the webform

Is it normal that even though one has not received AOR but is able to find the application on ECAS and status says application received?
Yes that happened to me. I got AOR email that same night.

Hmm Hopefully they confuse one for the other and still give you AOR1. if you get AOR1 you can upload it quickly....If not and they realize, they might send it back. But Lets hope for Scenario #1.

I have a UCI from applying for a work permit in the past. Will that allow me to upload a letter of explanation via the webform, or will I not have the option to do so until AOR1?

Hmm Yes that should work as well. It will all link together. I you want you can also call in to verify. I've heard others say they didn't want to confuse things by doing that before. But I don't thing it would. If it were me I would.

Yes it happens. Sometimes people can link their applications to their gckey account before receiving email with AOR and they can also find the AOR on the messages about your application table....or not

Sometimes there could be an error on the address
How would you do that without an application number or an UCI? I would love to try.

Guy, this morning on ECAS, both SAS and PRAS in my application has changed to "In Process." Does that mean I should receive AOR any time now? I'm still not able to link my application on GC Key account.

Try ECAS with your receipt number....Look at the options that you have. If its on ECAS it can link on GCKey...If not...Then its not in the system yet.

You'll get the email soon...If its your first time logging into to ECAS most likely tonight....Be sure you are entering your info in GCKey as per PA passport or IMM0008. Las thing number of applicant is 2. Unless you have dependents accompanying or not.

How do I find my receipt number?
Did you not pay for your application?...Its on the receipt that you HAD to send in with the app. Starts with a letter...

How do I find my receipt number?
Nevermind. I can see that you already got into ECAS......Call in if you can Not much more I can advise from here. The AOR1 email goes to the SA not Applicant.
